Halie's World
Well, thank goodness, all the puppies are almost gone. I only have one left to be placed, and he will be travelling to Belgium this weekend. Thanks to international rescue groups, he will find a lovely home without enduring extensive amounts of time in a kennel; I will drive them to meet the ladies picking him up, and the flight is only a couple of hours. He'll be a little nervous, I'm sure, but he's going to a great place with some loving people. As for the rest of the puppies, Alaska, Chile, Cuba, Sahara and Sydney are living with American families here. Africa and Manitoba are homed together on a Spanish plot of land called "el campo", and Norway found a home as the special playmate to a Spanish teenage girl. Dr. Sandra, my wonderful Spanish vet, adopted Russia, and India will be staying with me. Tomorrow, Berlin will begin his journey to Belgium, and Gorda is still waiting to be shipped to the United States where she, no doubt, has a nice home waiting for her. Here are some pictures of Berlin and India at 14 weeks old. ![]() Berlin sitting on Eden's lap. He's a sweetheart with loads of kisses to share. ![]() Here's Berlin looking at the camera with India attacking a box behind him.
