 Here we are, one big happy family! Carmen's just arrived, and we're showing her the local beach. It's a chilly afternoon, so we don't stay long. Besides...Carmen has her mind set on going to Portugal! Portugal ~ The Algarve coast  After a five hour drive, and a night in a tourist trap, we found a beautiful little beach. Salema is a rare, quiet beach that we've found near the end of tourist season in Portugal's Algarve region. Carmen chose to visit this beach for it's quaint town appeal; it's one of the few left unspoiled by tourists that flock to the the region from all over Europe yearly. Our second day in Portugal, travelled to the "end of the world", what was once believed to be just that before Columbus set off for the far east. |
