No matter what part of the season it is, there are always newsworthy news
as well as juicy rumors to report. I've made a separate page for all season seven
spoilers for those philes who would rather be surprised, and there is a episode airing
schedule page right below as well. If there is X-Files news that you find
interesting, please don't hesitate to drop an e-mail by--it will be greatly appreciated!
And a thanks to Spoilerville
which provides lots of informative news and rumors. |

posted some more information about Celebrity Millionaire:
"Celebrity brainiacs from David Duchovny to singer Vanessa Williams have signed Don't forget to tune in to VH1's Top Ten Countdown to see DD at 10am and again at 5pm. If you miss those, don't worry, because it re-runs a couple more times, so check your local listings! Also, DD will be appearing on the Late Late Show with Craig Kilbourne on April 14th! I've also added this to the appearances page. And one good rumor mill tidbit--I hear Fox may be closing in on a
decision on the show. It's about time! |
3-22 | TVGuide
online posted a little blurb about Hollywood AD:
"David Duchovny announced over the weekend that wife Téa Leoni will be featured in an
April episode of The X-Files. The premise of the episode is Ultimate TV has announced that DD's father, Amram Ducovny, who leaves the “h” out of his last name, has written his first novel, “Coney,” scheduled for release in September by Overlook/Penguin, according to the New York Post. En Ami ratings: "The X-Files"ended the evening with a 9.3/13 (9.1/13) beginning at
9 p.m." |
3-20 | I've been posting a lot of news on
the homepage lately, but I thought I'd finally get around to adding some
new things here.
First off, lots of DD appearances coming up, plus one from Mitch Pileggi! Read the list on the Appearances Page. There is an article in the NY Times where GA talks about her episode All Things. Heed this spoiler warning before you click on the link! I was reading along all nice and innocently when I hit around the middle and had to do a fast skim. *L* It's an interesting interview, so you can go here to read it. Yesterday I had found an excerpt from the Shiban interview in Cinescape,
but you can read the entire interview here. |
3-10 | For all of the lucky CA philes
over there here is some info for the Mar 31 to Apr 2nd Creation
Convention in Pasadena:
PASADENA, CA Fri., Sat & Sun MAR 31-APR 2, 2000 Also, Amazon is now allowing pre-orders for the Return to Me soundtrack which you can see here. I also updated the airing schedule, which is
always subject to change, but this is the current projected line-up. |
3-04 | There are a couple newsworthy
items to report this morning. William B. Davis' episode that airs on
March 19th finally has a name--"En Ami." Also, there will
be a live chat with him on March 17th at 8:00 PM Est at the TV
Guide site.
A little while back we found out that the comic book creators of Harsh
Realm were suing CC to have their names added to the credits, and it just
so happens that they won. "The ``inspired by'' credit must run in proximity
to the ``Created by Chris Carter'' credit, the judge ruled. |

Reviews are starting to pop up on Return
To Me, and you can read this great one from Cinescape
right HERE.
I also found a tidbit about the Lone Gunmen spinoff at Cinescape
which says that "scheduled production dates for the pilot, which will shoot in
Vancouver, will be shooting from March 20 to April 7, 2000." |

I looked around to see if
there was anything to back up the article from yesterday, but in
light of not finding very much, I've deemed the article to simply be
rumors. Hopefully there will be something more worthwhile about the
future of the XF, but in the meantime, we'll continue to wait patiently. |

I apologize for having lighter
updates than normal, but my professors decided to all throw tests at me
this week. But here are a few tidbits to start off the week...
Last night Extra had an interview with Carol O'Connor and they showed some clips of him with DD and Minnie in Return to Me, so I grabbed a few snappies which you can see HERE. Also, I hope everyone enjoyed the Frank chat last night. Look for the full transcript soon! And since I've been asked a couple times, here's a note about spoilers
on this site. While I undeniably have heard some juicy spoilers
through this season, I've tried to keep my distance. The reason for
that is simply this: if it is the last season, I want a few good
surprises before the finale airs. Although it's tempting, the
farthest I go is a few pictures from Foxflash, which aren't too terribly
revealing. So that is why you don't find an abundance of spoiler
news here, albeit I do indulge occasionally. :o) |

Lone Gunmen Spinoff Series?

On cast news for the moment, DD
and GA have been nominated for the SAG
Awards, and you can also visit MGM's new Return
To Me site. Thanks Ivan for sharing both of these!
The Official Site has added a very interesting Samantha timeline with additional images, captions and video. It's definatley worth a visit! And look in the new TV Guide for a close-up on Sein Und Zeit and
a new print ad. I'll get a scan as soon as possible! |

Well, the East Coast folks were
preempted by two hours of the State of the Union address last night, but
from I've heard, the Fox show wasn't exactly what I was thinking it would
be. So I guess those of us in the EST time zone didn't miss too
much.
I added this on the front page as well, but check out the Official Site for 6-7 new pictures from SUZ. A post on Spoilerville has declared that DD will be appearing on Leno on March 23rd for Return to Me's promotion. And on an extra note, while we're completely obsessive, hard-core fans
of The X-Files, it's important to give it's cast and crew the
privacy they deserve. Displaying pictures of the cast's children,
such as Madeline or Piper, is truly not acceptable, and the one picture of
Piper I had put up so long ago that a magazine had published has been
removed for good. If your site has any of these pictures, I urge you
to do the same. Actual cast and crew of the X-Files should be
recognized, but not those who are not involved by choice. |
1-27 |
The
Daily Buzz has added an article on a new development with CC and Harsh
Realm. Seems that the comic book creators want their names in the
credits of the show, but CC disagrees.
Don't forget to tune in to Fox at 9 p.m. EST tonight to check out the
GA clips. Hopefully I can get out of Chem lab early...as long as I
don't blow up the lab trying. ;o) The weekend is almost here--have a
good one! |

I had to double check on a piece
of news this morning over on Jay
Leno's page and it turns out Kim Delaney is scheduled for Jan 31, and
not DD. I'm assuming he will be on in late March or April to promote
Return to Me, so I'll keep an eye on it!
For the UK viewers, the BBC1 will be airing Dreamland and Dreamland II for a special two hours on the 26th. Fox has also released a press release about their
150th episode, X-cops, and some about Closure and First
Person Shooter. (I'm guessing Pilot isn't included in the
count or Closure would be the 150th.) |
1-23 |
I'm going to just add on to yesterday's tidbits
since there wasn't as much as I would have liked. I noticed a commercial for a show
called "Before they were stars" or something similiar (can't quite remember now)
that's to air on Thursday, 9 pm on Fox. It's this show with clips of now-famous
stars before their fame and one of the clips on the commercial was one of Gillian in her
punk-rock-type of attire. So if you're interested, tune in Thursday! The other big
appearance news is that DD will be on Jay
Leno on January 31, 11:35 pm EST on NBC. So set your VCR's! The Golden Globes are tonight--not exactly an exciting piece of news for philes since XF received no nominations--but if you would like to look at the categories and nominees to see who's replaced our show's spots, go HERE. And one last good piece of news to mention is that TV Guide has set up a live chat
with Vince for 2/17 at 8:00 pm. I did double check the TV Guide site, but I couldn't
find him listed, so I'm hoping this ends up to be true! I'll give you more info as I
find it. Until then, enjoy tonight's new episode and have a safe week! |

My good friend Haskell sent me the Mitch Pileggi
chat transcript which took place yesterday. You can read the entire event HERE. (some spoilers included) There is some new buzz from USA Today that David Duchovny will be directing another episode. There are hopes that this will guest star his wife, Tea Leoni, and Garry Shandling. That would make an interesting X-File, so we'll have to wait and see what happens. Good news for the UK! The first episode of season seven, 6th Extinction,
will be broadcast on |

There's more news tidbits today on the talks about the show's eighth season. Here's an exerpt from CNN-----> "CNN reported today that FOX plans to carry on with an eighth season
of The Well, if I were Gillian hearing that I would not be a happy camper. The other rumor floating through is a spin-off series. Here's the exerpt from the article: "Meanwhile, Carter and company is said to be exploring other options
that will keep at least one facet of their franchise cash cow going on the network. This
is the oft-rumored Lone Gunmen spin-off TV series which would take the three oddball
characters into their own regular adventures. The potential series is said to now be in
development by Carter with Frank Spotnitz, So in lieu of all of these talks, I've added a new poll about this season eight--what do you think will happen? Simply vote below: |

You may have noticed I've shortened down this
list a bit, but I left some of the more interesting links still up in case you wander that
direction. Between moving to a new place and to a new computer I haven't had a lot
of time on my hands, but I've finally settled in and will keep attempting to report the
news to you a little more frequently. So lets see what's happening in the new
millennium... At the top of the news, another article has come out about the X-Files' possible eighth season. Read what TV Guide reported from Fox Television Entertainment Group President Sandy Grushow. Also, good news for Harsh Realm fans! It looks like FX will be picking up the nine episodes of which six were unaired. Look for them in March plus some possible speculation that FX will pick up the series. I've updated the Airing Schedule through 7ABX15 which is possibly the Gillian directed episode that has been rumored. Lets hope so! The other rumor that may have everyone's attentions is the fact that Gillian might be playing the role of Clarice in Silence of the Lamb's sequel, Hannibal. While that would be great, I don't know how believable this one may be. Just in a recent interview with Jodie Foster on 60 Minutes II, she claimed that she had not turned down the role and instead was waiting for the script before making the decision. Plus, if Jodie Foster did turn it down, it's rumored that they are looking toward...(yes, this is scary)...Calista Flockhart. So I strongly recommend to not believe everything you hear, but clearly I would love it if Gillian did land the role. And for a little spoiling of Feb sweeps, the Official Site has added a video clip from SUZ |

Happy holidays! Between tests and the
holiday spirit I haven't had a chance to sit down and give this place a good updating.
I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving and a good 13 hour marathon! At least
until finals track me down I will keep this place running smoothly. So here goes for
my attempt to bring the news back up to speed: Right off the top for today's episode, "Millennium," FX will be airing certain episodes from Chris Carter's other series, Millennium, from 12 noon right up until 9 o'clock when the X-Files comes on. This is to help those who never watched Millennium to get a better idea of what the mythology in the X-Files episode "Millennium" is all about. Also, there have been some pretty good spoilers about the end of the episode which you can find more on the Spoilers Page. There is also a very good article about Millennium posted on the National Post--but be warned--more spoilers! I'm sure I'm not the only one who became completely charmed with the ending of 6th Extinction II: Amor Fati, but it turns out, because of Gillian's sudden hair-style change, the ending had been changed recently. Read the other "Amor Fati" ending at About.com. Also, an added note--a few days ago, on the 23rd, I was flipping through the channels when the show Extra caught my attention. They were reporting in a helipcopter showing us different star's houses, and then they showed a shot of David Duchovny's place in Malibu--telling us it was worth 2.7 million dollars and how many bedrooms it had and what not. So here's a alert for all the DD fans out there in case you catch the re-runs! And yes, by some miracle, the airing schedule is finally
updated. ;o) And don't forget to check out the Spoilers--a
very interesting one passed by me this afternoon. |
11-9-99 | If you haven't heard, the Official Site has a whole new look
now--lets just hope this one will be updated more often! And 6th Extinction fared well in the Nielson ratings coming in at 12.5/17 which placed FOX in third place for Nov sweeps. |
11-5-99 |
FX is having is 3rd Annual Secret Ballot for
the 12-hour marathon scheduled for Thanksgiving Day. What makes it different from
last years "top 12 favorites" is that it's categorized into sections such as
"scariest monster" or "favorite Mulder episode." Be sure to add
your favorites! Chris Carter 'Harsh' Talk. CC makes some well-deserved comments toward Fox about his Harsh Realm cancellation which is featured at Cinescape. Alert for Playstation owners! I noticed the new commercial for the Playstation version of the X-Files Game--so it's out and for sale! Be sure to pick up the Nov. 6th edition of TV Guide with
Regis Philbin on the cover. There's supposed to be an X-Files centerfold, and as
soon as I buy one I will scan the picture for you to see. |
