Changes 2006

Winter again, and time for some more changes.

Santa was very nice and brought me a Kuryakin Hyper-Charger and a Techlusion TFI unit. The charger is a vacuum operated gated airbox which allows more air the faster you go. The techlusion unit acts in the same way as the Power Commander but at half the price and no re-mapping the ignition.

And since the weather was bad again, I did the wheels again. Went for blue this time, just to see which colour I preferred.

Lacquered them as well this time, although the acrylic lacquer on the front wheel lasted all of a week before starting to peel off.

Eventually used a plastic lacquer with mixed results, front came out a lot better than the back.

I’d added lights a while ago, red LED’s under the tank and a couple of tri-colour bars under the rear mudguard. The bars couldn’t take the punishment and kept snapping so they got binned, and the red LED’s had to be changed out at the suggestion of a very nice Traffic cop.

So for this year I’ve got blue LED’s under the front of the tank and red ones under the rear of the tank, Blue strip lights alongside the radiator and blue LED’s under the mudguard.

While over in Houston I managed to get an addition to the Hyper-Charger, an Infinity Streamer, basically a light show, check the pics out below.
