The exhaust was my main concern, there was no way that I had an original, and where are you going to get a new one for a 1971 Triumph. I started searching with Google for the Triumph and the BSA. There are not a lot of these bikes going around, also the pics I had seen were almost the same but just a bit different from mine.
I was browsing through Ebay, looking for a parts manual, when I came across this advert Triumph BSA 250 OIF Oil In Frame Silencer NOS . This was too good to be true, even better when they also had the chrome side heat shield and the metal top shield. So I now have a brand spanking new exhaust baffle. Next problem is going to be a down pipe to match.
