I climbed the 'rock' walked around the 'rock' had dinner in front of the 'rock' and then flew around it at sunset by helicopter. Here I am waiting for take off.
I was lucky enough to sit up front in the helicopter with the pilot, so I think I had the best seat in the house. Here's Uluru at sunset with another helicopter in the background.
This is a view of the Olgas mountain range in the background - I could of stayed up there all night...it was just fantastic!
After leaving Uluru I drove to Kings Canyon, which is about 300km north of Uluru. This is the Canyon, and now that I am a World class rock climber, I decided do the rim walk...but first I had to climb up the side of the Canyon!
Once up on top of the Canyon rim, you can walk to the Garden of Eden The sandstone has worn away to leave this oasis on top of the canyon - just magical.
