This shows the Bungle Bungle Mountain Range. They call the stacks - bee hives, because of the differing coloured rings around each stack.

We flew over the Argyle Diamond Mine which is the largest open cut diamond mine in the world.
Here we are landing on the lake. It was just fantastic - we landed and took off about four times. I think the pilot was enjoying the trip as much as we were!

The Boab Tree is unique to WA. They are really wierd looking trees. Apparently they are related to a species only found in South Africa. Some people therefore belive that Africa and Australia were once a part of the same land mass.

When we finally made it to Broome, after another tyre bit the dust - this time one of the inside back ones...luckily Ranger Rick came to my rescue and helped to change the tyre. Anyway back to the picture of sunset on Cable Beach in Broome. In the distance you can see a sailing ship - well, this is the Willie Pearl Ship that Judy and I sailed on for the afternoon. I could really get used to just laying on the deck and being waited on hand and foot!
