Zechariah 10:4 Out of Him came forth the corner, out of him the nail, out of him the battle bow, out of him every oppressor together.
From them (JUDAH) will come the Cornerstone, the Peg on which all hope hangs, the Bow that wins the battle, the Ruler over all the earth.
Here we have several Messianic titles used.
This is a Messianic title. Yeshua is the cornerstone on which His kingdom rests.
Isaiah 28:16 Therefore thus says the L-rd G-D, Behold, I lay in Zion a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: He who believes in it will not be disturbed.

This is the large pole inside and oriental tent, on which is hung most if its valuable items. On Messiah hang all the glory and hope of His people. The nail is a term used often for a sure abode. See Ezra 9:8.
Judah will not need a foreign army to defend it. Messiah will be her “battle bow”, especially at His Second coming. (See Rev 6:2, 9:13, and Rev 19:11-16)
David was a type of Messiah. David was a warrior. Solomon also was a type but peace will come only after conflict. It is referred to as Jacob’s Trouble or “The Day of the L-rd.” It will be a time of gloom and darkness. (Isa. 2:12; 13:6; Ezek. 30:3; Joel 2:1; Amos 5:18;Zeph 1:14; Mal. 4:5;Acts 2:20; 1 Cor 5:5; 1 Thess. 5:2)
Zechariah 10:5 And they shall be as mighty men, which tread down their enemies in the mire of the streets in the battle: and they shall fight, because the L-RD is with them, and the riders on horses shall be confounded.
Here we see foot soldiers over powering the cavalry in battle. This is an illustration of the power of G-d’s people when His is with them.
Our Tenth letter is “Yod” a metaphysical and Divine letter meaning hand - the right hand of G-d.
Zechariah 10:6 And I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph, and I will bring them again to place them; for I have mercy upon them: and they shall be as though I had not cast them off: for I am the L-RD their G-d, and will hear them.
The house of Judah - the southern kingdom
The house of Joseph - the northern kingdom
Both kingdoms will be restored to a position of blessing during Messiah’s reign.
I am the L-RD their G-d - Because the Abrahamic Covenant is still in place and they are the people of G-d’s promise and all Israel will be restored to the land.
Zechariah 10:7 Those of Ephraim shall be like a mighty man, and their heart shall rejoice as through wine: yes, their children shall see it, and be glad; their heart shall rejoice in the L-RD.
The joy of the restored nation of Israel at the beginning of the millennium is compared to someone who has been drinking wine.
Zechariah 10:8 I will whistle for them, and gather them; for I have redeemed them: and they shall increase as they once increased.

Messiah will call for Israel’s redeemed and re-gather them to His land. Those who accept Yeshua as their Messiah during the tribulation (Daniel’s 70th week, the time of Jacobs trouble) and survive it will enter the millennium to multiply greatly (Isaiah 54:1-3)
Matthew 24:31 And He shall send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
Zechariah 10:9 And I will sow them among the people: and they shall remember me in far countries; and they shall live with their children, and turn again.
The L-rd has scattered the Jewish people all over the world after the destruction of the temple in AD 70 and he will re-gather them.
Zechariah 10:10 I will bring them again also out of the land of Egypt, and gather them out of Assyria; and I will bring them into the land of Gilead and Lebanon; until no more room is found for them.
Assyria and Egypt are traditional enemies of Israel and represent any nation who tries to prevent G-d from restoring the Jewish people to Israel.
Zechariah 10:11 And he shall pass through the sea with affliction, and shall smite the waves in the sea, and all the deeps of the river shall dry up: and the pride of Assyria shall be brought down, and the sceptre of Egypt shall depart away.
Just as G-d removed physical obstacles to Israel’s return from Egypt. G-d will again remove all obstacles keeping the Jewish people from returning to Israel.
Zechariah 10:12 And I will strengthen them in the L-RD; and they shall walk up and down in His name, says the L-RD.
The people of Israel will be the messengers of their Messiah during the millennium. This complete spiritual restoration is recorded in Ezekiel 36:21-38; 37:1-14,22-28.
