"Blue Skies" sung by Frank Sinatra and Tom Dorsey

More or less.

Saturday- Christmas party at Auntie Donna's. Fun stuff. Played a game called Catch Phrase which is much like Taboo, except without the words at the bottom. There's also a lot more pressure. It was spiff. My aunt's thought it very amusing how I clued them about the words.

Sunday- went to church. Altar served with the new server kid. Priest forgot a few things, but it worked out. Ate brunch with Dad. Yummy. Herb came over. Played Frequency and organized binder. Banished Herb for the night (Mom said it was getting dark.) Mom felt bad for not feeding him and worried about him getting home. Sent him an email telling him to call when he got home. Received phone call from Herb. Played FFTA on top of the dryer. Planned to sleep at 9:30, but ended up watching My Cousin Vinny with Mom. Hadn't seen that for a long time. Good movie, as usual. Slept around 11:30.

Monday- School. Blah. Not much work assigned, but enough to get everyone grumbling. Watched 60 Minutes on David Cash in Ethics. Talked about subjuntivo o indicativo in Spanish. Trig stuffs in Trig. Anions and cations in Chemistry. Took notes on important battles of the Civil War in AP History. Discussed the Creoles and our abstract for our research paper in Honor's English. Cleaned out the orchestra pit in tech- again, since Pat doesn't let us sit around and do nothing on the first day back. Herb came over. Walked home freezing. Went inside for a bit, then back out to wait for father. Picked up Mom at work. Dropped him off at his house.

Today- Woke up. Did Spanish homework. Wrote part of the chem lab. Talked to Herb, then to Butto for a few minutes, then Herb. Ordered buttoneer. Called Herb again. Took a shower. Wrote up more of the lab. Blogged.

Shyeah, that was exciting. This will probably be the last entry on this layout.

"Excuse Me Mr" by Ben Harper

Isn't that right? Yes, it is.

I like this song. Risa was going to play it for her devotional last year, but the cd didn't burn right, so she just gave us the lyrics. I think I'll make another fanlisting, after I finish the Trepanation Fanlisting. The comic, not the hole-in-the-head ritual.

Okay, here's what happened Thursday. Wrapped presents, though I have way more to go. Sarah comes over. We made a FRIGGIN HUGE snowman named Steve who looked spifftacular and took 3 hours to make. There was a point when we couldn't even push the base anymore, and we cried out in agony, blaming our alma matar who towered in front of us. We even yelled "FIRE!" While all ignored our cries, a lowly middle aged man heard our pain and helped us roll the base to the sidewalk (we were in the middle of the parking lot.) "Roll roll roll! Keep going!" he encouraged us until it was there. Sarah and I stood in awe, our gratitude stumbling out of our mouths. He just wished us a happy new year, picked up his groceries and walked away. He's our superhero.

I went off to Starbucks to spend one of my 3 gift certificates while she got a camera. Came back to Steve, whose middle and head got knocked off. We were all "....." They couldn't wreck the base cuz that thing was FRIGGIN HUGE. So we took pictures anyway. Fathers came by, took more pictures. They went somewhere, we went home.

Played Frequency, which gets really annoying after awhile. Watched TV. Watched Live with Paul and Page on the public access channel. That was spifftacular. One word- Paulbert. Then we ended up at VH1 watching "I Love the 80s." Sarah gets Mo Rocca while I get Justin Long (who didn't get enough camera time, but probably didn't say anything witty about the 80s.) Watched until about 4 am. Went upstairs and slept around 6.

Woke up around 11. Ate breakfast and watched Noggin. Watched Little Bear. We've concluded that Cat is a womanizer. You know it's true. Then watched Radio Free Roscoe and concluded that we should make a pirate radio station. I've added this to our list on my LiveJournal.

Saw a music video by Fefe Dobson. "Take Me Away." We just don't get her style. I dunno. Watched "Bye Bye Boyfriend," which is a great break up song. No sarcasm. But the car part is just no.

Wahoo~!

"Pure Snow (Instrumental)" by Yuko Sasaki

Took a nap on the yellow room's floor. Was spifftacular. Dragon blanket kicks.

Got the dress for semi. Tried it on. Way too big. Have to order 2 sizes smaller. But it looks nice.

Can't believe I watched Nickelodeon on New Year's. Sat on the counter playing FFTA until Mom came in and changed the channel to Time Square. Called people at midnight. Slept.

Woke up, there was snow. Mondo-snow. At least 3 inches. Friggin white.

Gonna call Kimiko and see if she can kick the dog.

"Secret Agent Man" by the Toasters

Got my hair cut. Layered, fake bangs. Good stuff. It's still long, but it looks much neater. Hair person was telling me how she used to have long hair like mine, but then she kept cutting it and doing stuff to it and it wouldn't grow anymore. She said mine grows really fast cuz it's healthy. Ha, right. I've dyed it so much, but I guess it's doing pretty well. *pets hair*

On the way there, I passed by the father from last night who got his tires slashed. He said thanks. He was just waiting to get his car towed.

Snowed again today, but it wasn't that cold outside.

Mai can't make it to the concert. Blah.

"Say It Ain't So" by Weezer

Saw Return of the Kings again. Spifftacular, as expected. When the spider was creeping upon Frodo from above, the whole theater was silent and some guy in the center was all like "shit!" and the audience laughed. It was great.

It had snowed during the movie, and it was nice and soft. Got home to find 2 middle-school girls and a father hovering around their car by the curb. Their car tires got slashed. Poor things. We asked them inside, but they said it was alright. They were waiting for their mom to come. They lived in Gresham. So, I asked Mom if we could make them hot chocolate, which we did. I think they're still outside, actually.

...which I never was. Sorry girls.

Went to a hair/nail place that just opened close by for a haircut. The hair person wasn't in, and the guy at the front desk (he does nails) felt really bad. It's very nice, very calming. Butterscotch walls, calla lily. Rolling chairs! But shyeah. Made an appointment for 11 tomorrow. Planning to get my hair layered with some "fake bangs." Yep yep.

So, I saw this thing on Richard's blog and decided to steal it.

"Pirate Radio" by The Toasters

...it really hurts my eyes. Sorry Kimiko, it's just not my style. But I'll use it anyway because it was made with love. Well, it better be.

I swear I've brushed my hair over 100 times today. Don't know why. But I just have. Everyone's right, it is getting really long.

I can't concentrate. It's too much for me.

Bought my dress for Winter Semi. It's my parent's Christmas present to me. We ordered it over the wired. It's really pretty. It's silver. Gotta find silver heals. Though I doubt it'll look as good on the model as me. But I think that's a given.

Going to the Toasters concert at the Meow Meow on January 8th. I'm listening to their music to get pumped. Shyeah...So, made some calls to confirm who's coming. I know for sure Helen and Kimiko are coming. Richard, you better come, since you kick it a lot at the Meow Meow.

Really Sarah, it's just too much for me.
