Ok, but not only are the Spartans haunting me, but so are CHEESECAKES!!! My God! What is witht the obsession over cheesecake all of a sudden?! It's insane! From Kimiko and her desire of making cheesecakes to my TA of wanting to bring cheesecake to class. You know what?! no.
Called people for ODS canvassing. My voice is giving out on me. Ack, 42/70 to go. Most of them weren't home, so I have to call them back. I started getting all nessed at one point, that I actually dialed Kimiko's number instead of another girl's and asked for "Leah" Couldn't stop laughing.
I want to shower now.

This Spartan thing is becoming too much of a motif. My aversion of Sparta is being fed by my environment. It's just too much. Take Devil May Cry, Dante happens to be the legendary son of the dark knight Sparta, Kimiko and I flinched. Today at my Aunt's fridge there was one of her son's highschool awards with their mascot, the Spartans. I was like "...no"
Today, I played piano at the annual Baroque Fest. It's pretty much a competition-ish thing with an adjudicator and stuff. I was freaking out so much...more than anything in my life. I was shaking and almost threw up and shiz. I usually turn my nervousness into energy, but my music would be out of whack with that. I shizzed up so much...well, not too much now that I think about it. Not too mention the room was dead...I mean the piano didn't sound good because of the low ceiling and stuff. Anyways, I got back to my seat and I started crying. Not sob-crying, just the tears. The girl to my left, Inna, was so sweet. She was all like "you did fine, it was really pretty!" Anyways, when it time for the adjudicator to talk to me, she didn't say much cuz she ignores errors. All she told me to do was breathe. I got to play the first half of my Gavotte (5 gavotte of the 6 French suites by Bach) again, this time with "breathes" in between. It sounded much much better cuz I was relaxed. Either way, it was a good experience. Next up, the piano competition in a few weeks.

Yes, we're having a hell of a lot of fun with Greek history. Here's a lot of shiznit from history banners/mottos/made-up phrases that just match.
Yes...yes...down with Sparta!!!. Argh! In my history class, Argos (my group) was in second place for our motto & logo ("We are the warriors of the Arts..." with a kick ass logo made by Christian/Calypsa). We tied with Sparta, but they were first because "they had more second places" -_-;; They pretty much only won cuz the hat they made kept on falling off Michelle. Shyeah...I borrowed tape from them and I thought they were Corinth, so I was like "Hah-rah! thanks Corinth" and they said "we're Sparta!" and they growled at me. Shyeah...in Kimiko's class, they (Corinth) got second place to Sparta. Hehe.
Lindsay wasn't at school today cuz she was at Junior encounter. Yes, it was different. No kupo...
Kimiko kicked it at my house after school. We sat and talked for a while, then we ate dinner and watched Yu Gi Oh, played Devil May Cry for a few hours, did some homework, went out to dinner again w/ my parents at a Chinese place, and she went home. Shyeah, we're only on mission 4 in DMC. Hehe...thank God for holy water.
She can't make it to the ODS canvassing tommorow which makes me very very sad.

Blame the subject on Christian. She's Canadian, hehe. In History, we're doing Greece now (how many times do we have to learn about them?) and Ms. Nyland put us into groups. I'm in the Argos group. We all have Greek names. My name's Sappho (almost chose Nike.) I'm in the group with Oceana/Megan, Proppisia/Missy, Mysia/Gabriel, and Calypsa/Christian. I was chose general, which was kinda scary. Apparently, Argos was a disgrace to the Greeks cuz they wouldn't send people for the war against Persia. So we were like "great...we suck..." Our rivals are supposed to be cultural achieved Athens and kick ass military Sparta. We like Megara and Corinth. We really like the arts, like painting, sculpting and theatre. We had to come up with a motto and we're like "....." and it took pretty much 15 mins to come up with a somewhat decent motto...."Warriors of the arts..." This is going to be quite interesting. Btw, the Greeks greeted each other with a "hah-rah!" (hurrah...not hooray...hurrah)
Pulled an Outdoor School teaching method in Religion class today. Shyeah, she asked me to explain/teach theophany along with paradigm, and we just talked about it so I was thinking and was like "hey, why not?" When I got up there I said "can anyone tell me what theo means?" and D'Andria raised her hand and answered. And then I expanded on that and then I said "so when you put theo and phany together, what do you get?" and half the class was like "...theophany...!" and I was like "work with me here!" and Dr. Sheila liked that. Then I explained paradigm and told about Jonah and the whale and his paradigm of not going to Nineva, and how God stalked him and the whale ate him and stuff. Then I pointed to Theophany on the board and ended. It was fun.
Damn, am I glad not many people read my blog.

The candle party last night went alright. Abby, Slauro, and I were actually TOGETHER again. Hehe...it was weird...Shyeah...be safe, be good, be Gohan. I left Abby, Slauro, and Kimiko upstairs and locked the door. You can only unlock the door from the inside unless you have a key, and I knew Abby would freak out cuz she would miss the lock and not be able to open the door. Then someone, Kimiko or Slauro (it was Kimiko), would point it out. And Abby would say "oh..." and Slauro would laugh. It happened to be that...I was right. Bwahaha. Don't be violent, burn houses.
Anyways, Rachel also came. She was the Partylite consultant in place for her mother. She did a good job. I lent her Grave of the Fireflies cuz it's the only VHS I have and she doesn't have a dvd. Shyeah, we gotta kick it sometime.
Afterwards, Kimiko stayed and we played DDR until 10:30. The knee-drop is now a motif, and so is pad switching. Yes yes, we love The A-Team cuz they kick so much ass. And I love the cute DDRing Korean guy that does the peace sign. Yes...yes...Then she talked to me (it wasn't my doing this time) on the phone this time until 1 in the morning. And I woke up at 6:20.
So, I fell asleep in a few of my classes. Math, but that was ok cuz I finished all my work. Spanish, which wasn't ok cuz the teacher was lecturing. Pobrecita.
And once again, I am bombarded with homework...

Don't really know what I did today. Umm...I altar served...the sister that leads the choir really likes me. Shyeah...she's all like "I like you" so I said "ok...thank you" and she asked info. I guess I now get to play piano for the children's choir. Shyeah, another choir singer said his prayers were answered cuz he heard me playing piano and asked if I could accompany the children's choir. So I guess I will.
Watched a bit of the Super Bowl. I missed a lot of the commercials (cuz the commercials are spiff), but I d/led them from aol.com thanks to Red Hat. Shyeah, Kimiko and I pseudo-watched it over the phone together. She told me "this is what Christmas break should've been like...not worrying about school." Shyeah...school pretty much stalks you at SMA...

Kimiko and I decided (to try) to make our one DDR team. We're gonna have a routine at least every Friday of going to my house and busting it until we fall to the floor. Then we'll hit the arcades when we feel like it. We don't have a name yet, we decided we'll come up with it on the spur of the moment if someone asks.
So Kimiko, here's our list of "things to do." Tell me if I'm missing anything...
About my domain, double-edged.net...some of you are wondering why the hell it isn't there. For those who are lagging behind (like Slauro's computer) my old harddrive crashed and it had everything for my domain. So I lost the layout and all the shiznit for the pages. It makes me sad. Kupo! IV
Yeah, I didn't go to Avalon (hehe...Athalon) with Helen, Lindsay, and Kimiko cuz my Mom was all getting shizzed up about how far it was and the fact we were walking that distance. And apparently I/Mom was right =P. Shyeah, so I didn't go and instead I went to Pioneer Place w/ Saiyuki and Mai ate really really early lunch/breakfast. Mom got shizzed up again cuz she thought I was going home. She heard me wrong cuz I really said "should I go home now?" and she hung up cuz she was grumpy. Anyways, she called again while I was reading the manga Orochi Blood or something and was like "I THOUGHT YOU WERE GOING TO GO HOME" and I was like "no..." and she asked me where I was and I told her and she hung up again. So I finished the rest of the manga and headed home.
I think she felt bad later cuz I was going downstairs and Mom's like "where are you going?!" and I gave her the look "today was shit and you aren't helping" and said "downstairs" and she was silent. So I stayed downstairs for a while and took a nap. Later on I ran errands with Mom cuz I felt like going (and I felt kinda guilty) and she let drive me drive after all the errands were done. We went to Carnival and got lunch. Shyeah, it was great fun.
Orochi Blood was interesting. Mai was like "what's it about?" and I told her I couldn't explain it. It didn't have much blood in it. It was an interesting psychological thing though. Shyeah...I felt bad for Lisa, and especially for Yoshiko.
I stayed up watching Serial Expirements Lain until 12. So from 8 - 12 it was Lain on channel 294 (Tech TV). Shyeah, Kimiko called me up and I got all freaked out and rushed to the tv. It was beautiful. Ben/Atomic couldn't understand the glory and awesomeness of it all. It made me sad. I also have a headache, partly from trying to cogitate the series' ness, Orochi Blood, and from drinking wine w/o any food in my stomache, yep, goes straight to your head. My bad

I helped sell muffins and hot chocolate today for ODS with Butterfly/Lisa and a girl from SADD club. Shyeah. I made the hot chocolate...and it was damn good hot chocolate too, until I figured out about the dregs the chocolate mix left. Shyeah, it was comforting. We also ran out of whip cream, which kinda sucked cuz it kinda looked spiff with the whip cream. Without it, the hot chocolate was just sitting there. Kimiko wouldn't get anything...she said she bought a muffin yesterday. Right... I think we have to sell tommorow morning also.

I have to tackle my hardest finals tommorow, Honors English and World Religions. Shyeah, for English I have this huge ass pile of notecards just for vocabulary. I wonder how much of the words my teacher will actually use. Religion won't be too bad, but I should study for it. I usually don't. Brownie points to anyone who can compare and contrast an Aristotelian Tragic Hero and a Sophoclean Tragic Hero. =P
I got a B on my term project, Mound Builders. Shyeah. My teacher told me I didn't have a clear introduction and conclusion. That just makes me sad. I really really really really wanted an A, or even an A-. Ah well.
In my religion (I'm Catholic Christian), today is the eve of Saint Agatha's feast day. Legend has it, if a young maiden fasts and eats a hardboiled egg at bedtime, she may dream of her future husband. I told Mom that last night(argh) and she's all like "you're not fasting!" and later when I walked out of the room she said even louder "you're not fasting!" So this morning, she brings me breakfast in bed just to make sure I was gonna eat ^^;;
I still haven't mailed my out-of-state Christmas presents. My bad. I should soon, shouldn't I? Kupo...

Went to the evening fundraiser for ODS on Saturday. I was the only SMA sophomore there -_-;; Zinga and I were the only peeps from week 3 Howard, but it was alright. I saw Moose/DDRing Matt, Atomic, Acer, Paco, X-box (the original, Dune), Trapper John, Karma, Herbal Tee, and a bunch of other peeps from forums. Some PL's were there too, like Pheff, Urchin, Wildcat/Grandpa, Casper, Moose (the PL), and Columbia. I pat Bramble on the head and she barked. Puttly wouldn't do his Puttly Dance. It made me sad. Acer was like "There's a Puttly dance? I feel deprived" I even got on my knees and begged for Puttly to do it, and he wouldn't. *cry cry*
One of the 6th grade girls from my cabin were there. I walk in the room and I hear "Starfox! Starfox!" and I look around and I see this girl waving at me. So I'm trying to remember who she was and I remembered (it was Celene). She was doing a skit with a bunch of her posse. I was so proud! Columbia pushed me up in front of a bunch of people, she's all like "you should be up here watching" cuz I was standing in the back. Columbia also told me Chelsea (another 6th grade girl from my cabin) was looking for me at the square.
Shyeah...Kimiko couldn't make it cuz she was sick. So I called her around 11 last night and we talked until about 12:15. Yep yep. She said the Puttly Dance was an obsession for week 2, so Puttly was probably traumatized.
I think I should start studying though, kupo.
