December 31, 2006

Though it's unlikely that anyone will read this today (four hours to midnight!), all of us here at Hit By A Bus Productions would like to wish you a riotously fun (but drunk-driving free) New Year's Eve! Well, where we are, not too many people are going to be driving around anyway because of all the snow, but our legal department (a.k.a. Kevin) says it's worth mentioning. Also, for a New Year's surprise, tomorrow we will announce what our next film project will be. And you say that you never get anything at New Year's!

December 29, 2006

Just so you know, Hit By A Bus Productions will reveal our next project very early in the new year. Hint: the thing we're parodying can be found in one (or more) of our biographies.

December 28, 2006

The fourth member of Hit By A Bus to get a biography is also the youngest: Andrew Gabel (Leon from Misplaced). Click here to take a look at it!

Made a slight change to Kim's bio. Oh, and here is a link to the Christmas video on Youtube.

December 25, 2006

Merry Christmas! All of us here at Hit By A Bus Productions hope that everyone has a thoroughly happy holiday, and to ensure that everyone does, we've crafted a splendiferous holiday tribute! Check it out! Also, thanks to Kyle Kaye for designing our super-cool logo. You rock!
UPDATE: The Christmas video has been moved here.

December 24, 2006

Well, we finished shooting our mini-project last night and we're in the final stage of editing. Check back tomorrow to see it!

December 23, 2006

Sorry we didn't update yesterday . . . last-minute Christmas shopping and all! However, to make up for it, we have a new bio . . . Kirk's! Click here to see Kirk's PIN number. Kidding.

December 21, 2006

We have a new bio up today, and it's Kim's! Click here to find out all you can about Hit By A Bus's vastly outnumbered female.

December 20, 2006

Well, we would have finished the mini-project today, only Kirk had to "work", and go to his "job", and "contribute to society". Some people. Anyway, the rest of us did a bunch of shooting and Kevin edited the new footage into the movie. So far it's somewhere over two minutes, but by the end it'll probably end up being around four minutes (or slightly less). It'll definitely be out within a week, though.

December 19, 2006

I (Kevin) created the Bios section, and to commemorate the occasion, I've included a biography of Curtis Gabel . . . better known as Luis from Misplaced. Check it out . . . you may learn a thing or two about him. Also, come back to the site whenever you can; you never know when a new bio might be up.

December 18, 2006

Yesterday was also a busy day. Kevin did the sound mixing for about half of the Misplaced audio commentary, and all five of us did some more filming for our mini-project. In sadder news, Day Break has apparently been cancelled. So long, Bus Lady . . . we hope you made it out okay.

December 17, 2006

Last night was a busy night for Hit By A Bus Productions. Not only did the five of us record an audio commentary for the Misplaced DVD, we also started shooting our new mini-project (one which should be on the site by the end of the month). Check back for details!

December 15, 2006

For those of you who are wondering what the next Hit By A Bus project will be, here's a clue: the theme music for the next thing we're going to parody can be heard in one of the four episodes of Misplaced. Happy hunting!

December 14, 2006

Made a few changes to the main Misplaced page, so less scrolling is necessary. Also: Kevin's exams are done! Now he can finally get to writing our next project (cough). In other news, last night's episode of Day Break was awesome . . . even though the Bus Lady wasn't in it (she hasn't made an appearance in a long time, actually).

December 13, 2006

Thanks to all who attended the Misplaced premiere last night! It was great seeing the movie on a big screen, and all your laughter and applause were much appreciated. You guys are awesome!

December 11, 2006

For all those who know what TYN is, Misplaced will be shown tomorrow at its Christmas party . . . credits and all! To all those who will be in attendance: we hope you like it!

Today is our site's one-month anniversary! Big thanks to everyone who watches our videos . . . you guys make it all worthwhile!

December 6, 2006

It's finally here! "Everybody Hates Leon": the fourth and final episode of Misplaced! All your questions will be answered . . . what is making the noises in the jungle? Who is the mysterious woman with the rifle? Why did the canoe crash? What is the capital of Assyria? Well, maybe not that last one, but you will certainly find a lot out! Click here to see "Everybody Hates Leon" on our site, and click here to see it on YouTube. Once you've seen it, please tell us what you think in our guestbook. And don't worry . . . Misplaced might be over, but Hit By A Bus Productions has a lot more up its sleeve. Keep checking back often!

Updated the FAQ section. Don't forget . . . Episode 4 airs tomorrow!

December 4, 2006

Sorry I (Kevin) haven't made any new updates lately; I've been busy working on Misplaced, and (fingers crossed) it looks like it's done! I have a cut of the film that I'm reasonably happy with, but I want to confer with the other Hit By A Bus people before saying that we have the absolutely final cut. At this point, the entire film cut together is eighteen minutes and thirty-five seconds long; eight minutes and eleven seconds of that haven't been posted yet (and two minutes of that is a credit sequence which I probably won't include in Episode 4). If that seems longer than a regular Misplaced episode, you're right . . . we're ending the series with an extra-long super-episode which will be sure to dazzle all who view it. And for all those waiting for Kim's character to be revealed, don't worry . . . she's the first person you see in Episode 4!

December 1, 2006

We've added a guestbook to our site, so that the people who watch Misplaced don't have to go on YouTube to comment on it. If you move quickly, you could be the very first poster! By the way, thanks to Bravenet for providing us with this service.
