Yes, things do change around here...
February 17, 2004 | ... Ta da? So, this is the new layout. It's better than the old one at least (although that isn't very hard). There's still some things I've got to fix over the next few days, but it's useable as is. If there's any trouble with it, please let me know so I don't have to unravel everything once I'm done. |
January 31, 2004 | First of all, another fic. So get all excited and click to Sarah Meade's work, and when you're done that, Scott Couturier's recently updated his. Next time, more excuses for not finishing the new layout. |
September 23, 2003 | Well, nothing much has changed around here... But, there is a New Fic up. Go check out (Scott) Couturier's book length sequel to the series. |
June 9, 2003 | Not much - Just a poll to help me know what kind of design would be best. I'm not going to do anything fancy, but I'm thinking of keeping the general layout, but replacing the frames with tables, so the nav bar is embedded in the page. Then, maybe, I'll get around to finding links... maybe even make some graphics! Yes, your grandchildren are going to visit a much improved Hitchhiker's Library! |
June 7, 2003 | Well, the site is still a mess, but it has a new fic! Yay! The auther is Afrai. As a complete coincidence, I've also updated the Display. ;) Other things are changed as well, but I don't think anyone will notice. I'm going to get rid of the frames again - they're too much trouble. |
March 27, 2003 | I feel kind of guilty, neglecting this for so long. Oh well, I'll get over it. I'm currently fooling around with some frames. They don't work right right now... and also the site's just as messy as it was before, but it should get better eventually. |
January 10, 2002 | Happy Friday, everyone. Barely. Anyway, not much of an update - there was a link that got broken. The page, I believe, is gone, but I found an archive of it, complete with the fic. Weird. But lucky, non? |
December 11, 2002 | Well, I put a couple backgrounds in. I don't know why - I personally hate backgrounds. I finally took the explanation behind my starting this site off the front page. After all, it's been quite a while. At this point I need a sarcastic explanation for why I'm still at this, non? Then, I split up the author page. Its been needing it for awhile. I didn't do it very nicely, however, so I'll have to work the kinks through the site later. I don't think there's any holes, so if anyone finds one, please tell me? Oh, and I finally bothered to do a new "On Display." It occurs to me I've forgotten all the previous Displays, so I'm probably going to repeat myself. Apologies in advance. |
November 18, 2002 | Made a few small tweaks, probably nothing to notice. I'm planning to spend some time in a month from now (after exams) reworking the site, so if anyone has any specific complaints or suggestions, contact me before then. Or there's a spot in the poll. Whichever. |
October 18, 2002 | Fixed a few problems with the author page. The link to Zaphpd's stuff works again.... |
October 18, 2002 | I put a poll up. A poll! It's 2 in the morning, I have to do school related stuff in a few hours, and I put up a poll! What kind of an idiot am I? But I'm not going to put up another stupid poll just for that question. |
October 14, 2002 | Thanksgiving. Yay! To celebrate, I've finally got around to updating. Sorry... No record breaking wait this time. Anyway, there's two new fics by two new authors. Cheshire and Princess White are the proud writers of the reasons behind this update - and you know where to discover said reasons for yourself, right? (Think, author page.)
Okay, then. Turkey time! |
July 22, 2002 | Well, I just did something unusual... I updated. Yeah, I know. I've actually spent a number of hours shuffling files around (So please tell me if anything doesn't work), but the only thing you get out of it is a new fic. By me, so it is an occasion :p I'd give you the author name, but we all know I'm Leigh Kighel, right?
Also, I have, for some uncertain reason, fixed the link to the brochure down next to the picture. In case someone wanted to read my insane rambling, I suppose. Why anyone would want to is another uncertain thing. |
May 20, 2002 | I've done updates, if by updates you're hoping I mean more fanfic. Silas Janzen, Alicia Evilstone, and Aerial Bard, the authors be. |
May 8, 2002 | Hi! Grins sheepishly. Let's pretend you don't notice the gap between the last update and this one, okay? Okay. Right now, I'm in the middle of getting rid of the separate author pages. They were complicated for me to keep track of, and they turned people off. I'm also debating several other improvements, but I find myself sandwiched between studying and working. Sorry, no new entertainment. For now.... |
January 15, 2002 | Wow. I'm updating after only one day. Freaky. Let us ponder that for a while. Or you can leave me to ponder, while you go check out the fic by Cindy M. Either way... And, I've made it even easier (if more confusing) to find the authors. That weird sentence is actually a table contents! |
January 13, 2002 | Another fic up - Check out Celerity. Also, as some of you many have noticed, I've decided to exchange the monthly Displays for a Quarterly system. The reason is simple, if depressing. It has a little bit to do with the mathematics of the whole affair, and a lot to do with me being lazy. |
December 8, 2001 | New author up: GalaxyLei. Two fics! Not the fics I expected to have up, but still a great thing to happen. |
December 5, 2001 | Some of you may have noticed I update only on weekends... This is me trying to brak that pattern. It doesn't do to be too predictable. I've got the December display up. However, come back after the weekend and I should have updated again - with a brand new fic for you all. Sigh. Habits are hard to forget. Also, I got rid of Working beside the link to the Challange Page. Back page news, maybe. That's why it's in little bitty letters. |
November 12, 2001 | What did I tell you? There is a new story up today. The author is Richard Beaubien. |
November 11, 2001 | So I glanced at my calendar today, and what do you know? It's November already. I've got a new display up. And, while I was at it, I put up a couple new authors, complete with fic: Marie and Kevin Turnquist. (Not to be guilty of starting untrue yet exciting rumors or anything, but come back tomorrow and you may find even more cool things here...) |
October 20, 2001 | New fic up everybody (well, everybody of age, at least)! The author is M Moneure're. |
October 8, 2001 | I got the Challenge page up! Now that I went to all that work, I'm hoping some of you reading this will actually go there and use it! Hint (not-so-subtle) Hint |
October 7, 2001 | Well, it hasn't been quite a month... Anywaz, I picked an October display; go to the Stacks to find out who it is... Also, a NEW STORY is up. The author is Nova Adams. And there might be another in the next couple days... :) |
September 8, 2001 | I've got another author (with two stories) up. Go look up Michael Ahlf. Now that I've dealt with the back log, I'll list new stories as they come. Check here often! |
September 2, 2001 | Good news, for me at least. I'm, for now, more or less caught up with the actual fiction. Not that there's not a Zillion other things to do. Yes, this means new fic is up. Go read it. When you're done, I've found a site which contains ALL 12 radio eps. The link's at the links page, or in the stacks, but I'm much too lazy right now to put links here to anything. |
August 31, 2001 | The September 2001 Display is up. Also more new fiction for your enjoyment. I got the picture on this page working again. Probably more stuff happened, but those are the highlights. |
August 26, 2001 | I've spent hours uploading new fiction, and I'm still not done! I haven't decided whether to be happy or exhausted yet. Maybe both? If you go to the stacks, I've got a new link, an interesting non-fic. I promise to work on my links page, just not today. |
August 18, 2001 | I finally got around to building this page, which is probably the most significant update, at least as far as it concerns updates in general. There have been other slight changes since the 11th. More fics are up, a couple links, a guest book, a counter... er, that's about it actually. I have found new ways to use my one graphic, although none of them involve backgrounds. Wow, huh. |
August 11, 2001 | I made various wonderful pages, like home, and authors, and one graphic, on the theory that it takes much less effort to make one graphic and use it ten times than to make ten different graphics. |
At first, the site consisted mainly of this lovely graphic, and a brochure that I have since gotten rid of. It offered nothing, really, to anybody except the information that the site did not exist, which could have been deducted, perhaps more easily, by not having anything at all...
