Accounting Students
Association of Curtin (ASAC)
Aims
To provide a place for accounting
students to network with other students, accounting staff and industry
professionals.
Goals
 | To provide networking
opportunities to members through both social and informative events. |
 | To provide a line of
communication between accounting students, the School of Accounting and
professionals from the accounting industry. |
 | To become an association well
known for providing benefits to its members and respected by other
students and staff of the Curtin community. |
Background
Accounting Students Association of
Curtin (ASAC) was formed in 2003, supported by the School of Accounting. As
a relatively new club, we are striving to achieve recognition as a place
where accounting students can develop their networking and professional
skills, through a variety of social and professional events. ASAC is an
association for accounting students run by accounting students, and members
can become involved with the club through the executive committee. Besides,
university should be more than just hitting the books. |
