Zani is as French
as the Eiffel Tower. An accomplished gymnast, he could flip
and somersault by the age of ten, and still can if he's being
tortured.
As a teenager,
he toured French villages with fellow performers to present
traditional medieval carnival shows... With the money he sometimes
made, he bought... a unicycle of course!
While completing
his theatre studies at university, Zani took part in many
workshops, including movement studies, commedia del'arte,
Grotovsky, etc).
Upon graduation,
he joined French director Marc Klein's company and took part
in many theatre productions. Add to that mix, a generous drop
of circus training and Zani was ready to take to the streets.
He joined Zanka, an upcoming professional Street Theatre Company
based in Lyon, and found his true vocation.
