Therefore, maintenance of ecological balance and a pristine environment has been of utmost importance to human.However,historically, growth and the environment protection have been seen in conflict, because protection was understood as the protection of resources, and development as the use or exploitation of these resources. Recognising the need for both is extremely difficult.In the next chapter, we will focus on this problem.
