Our first requirement is an ADS or EPS file thus avoiding any font conflicts etc.

Base artwork is preferred and we accept the following: 

Quark (up to v5 - If using version 6 please save down to version 4), 

Photoshop (up to v7), Freehand (up to v10)*, 

Illustrator (up to v10)*.

 

If sending PDF’s please ensure Images are CMYK and all fonts are embedded.

*Any clients supplying Freehand or Illustrator files, please ensure you create outlines and save as an EPS.

EPS files with Jpeg encoding are NOT acceptable

We can also accept PC originated files, however, Word files (and the like) can only be processed as words and spaces, so there is a requirement to save these as EPS, TIFFs, Jpegs, etc enabling them to be accessed via Photoshop.

We require a Colour Cromalin proof with ALL Full pages and Double Page Spreads.  Please include a list of all applications and fonts used to allow the final output to be checked. Cromalins can be run out at a cost of £30 per page but artwork MUST be received before the deadline.

Clients are requested to save all their colour work as “process separated” & “CYMK”, not RGB or Pantone.

We cannot accept any files created in Pagemaker, Corel Draw or Ventura.

Files can be sent to us via:

Disk: Floppy, Zip, or CD. If you would like your disk returned to you after publication please specify and ensure you label them clearly.
