Relations among Arcs, Chords and Angles
In the same circlee, equal angles at the centre stand on equal arcs.
If x=y, then arc AB=arc CD. If arc AB=arc CD, then x=y.
In the same circle, equal angles at the centre stand on equal chords.
If x=y, then AB=CD. If AB=CD, then x=y.
In the same circle, equal chords cut off equal arcs.
If AB=CD, then arcAB=arcCD. If arcAB=arcCD, then AB=CD.
arcAB:arcCD = m:n. [Reference: arcs prop. to angles at centre]
arcAB:arcCD = a:b. [Reference: arcs prop. to angles at circumference]
