| Today
is Sunday, 4th august, we have been here for a week already. Today is
a free day with our host family, so Julie and Benny were going to take
us to see something new, because Katrina and Sarah weren't with us today.
After we had our breakfast this morning, Julie and Benny brought us to
a market to have a look. There were many different kinds of shops. They
sold second hand and hand-made products, co most of them were cheap. Benny
told us that this kind of markets open from 6:00
am to 1:00pm every Sunday, but we didn't buy anything in the market. |

| Then,
we went to forest glen sanctuary to see koalas. We queued up for photo-taking
with a koala. We put it on our shoulders and touched it with our hands;
its fur was very soft. After that, we went to the souvenir shop to buy
some souvenirs for our families in Hong
Kong. Then Benny took us to walk around the park, and see many animals,
he told us the characteristics of different kinds of animals. For example
wombats, dig holes for protection. Emus have strong legs, so they can
run fast; they also eat a lot of grass. We even saw joeys, kangaroo babies;
they were very small and cute. We took many photos with them. We stayed
there for about one and a half hour and then had lunch. |
