Animals in Germany enjoy better constitutional rights than
children bus riders in Hong Kong The lawmakers in Germany
voted in favour of giving constitutional rights to animals in 2002.
Article 20 of the German Basic Law says: The State takes responsibility
for protecting the natural foundations of life and animals in the
interest of future generations."
In Hong Kong, the constitutional rights of children bus riders
are violated in full view of the public on a daily basis.
In the name of corporate profits
Not only is there no attempt to stop this daily violation, the government
has passed law (as measured by the impact of the Education Ordinance)
to ensure their daily exposure of molestation of their constitutional
