Woke up again at around 9.00am, we had breakfast and started out at 10.00am. The first place we visited was the National Center for Social Research. The symbol of the Center is a balance and a philosopher to maintain rational thinking and objective research. The official we met was a very kind woman with good English. She brought us to the data processing laboratory, the chemistry laboratory, the library and the computer rooms. It was a very professional place for serious research. The staff was all very serious.

We went to old Cairo again in the afternoon with Islam, Mai and Rabaab. It was very hot this day and we were a bit tired after the journey. We took a taxi to the place and walked along the stores and shops. We went back with a taxi again.

Taxi in Cairo got different colors in different city. It was black for those in Cairo. The lamps with the word "TAXI" on top of the cars have different colors like yellow, white, green and so on. However, this has no special meaning except reflecting the taste of the driver.

In the evening, we went to the second place: Helmia El Zatun Youth Center. The head of the center was a very kind and understanding man. He really paid a lot of effort in helping youths and we could see that he did his job with all his heart. We visited the small laboratory in the center with the inventions of the youths there. Although they were not very complicated things, all of them showed us the time and patients the youth spent. All of them were the results after long time of hard works. We could see that they were very proud of their works. This confidence was very appreciable.
