License issued by Civil Aviation in HK SAR
Instrument Rating (IR) Flight Test
Applicant for an IR should meet the flying experience requirements mentioned in paragraph 2.3.3 above.
The test will comprise:
Section 1: flight procedures
Section 2: take-off and climb
Section 3: en-route
Section 4: holding
Section 5: instrument and missed approaches.
Further requirements are specified in Part 3 Chapter 10 of the CAD 54.
