184. Phoebe Agnes [Waldroop] WALDROP was born on 19 Sep 1834 in Newberry Co., S.C.. She died in 1879 in Miller Co., AR.. The family of James and Phoebe was received from H.L. Waldrop, D.D.S. of Peoria, IL. Phoebe had five sons when her husband died, the oldest not yet ten. At age 27, Phebe Agness was left a widow. She educated her children and all the sons became Methodist Ministers.

She was married to James Kirkham EVANS (son of William P.* EVANS and Elizabeth Ann MCEWEN Dr.) on 14 Nov 1850 in Calhoun Co., AL.. James Kirkham EVANS was born on 3 Oct 1828 in DeKalb Co., GA.. He died on 23 Aug 1862 in Austin, AR.. Died in Civil War - Confederate serviceJames K. Evans died in the Civil War. time was spent in Dallas.

Robert G. Vaughn 4. Winborn (1891-1902) 5. Laura Alma, 1893 m.
