Waldrop, who made his home at 1029 McDade St.a was a native of Cartersville, Bossier Parish, and was born there 23 Nov 1876. He was a carpenter by trade and retired several months ago after the onset of his illness. Survivors: widow Mrs. Clara DeMoss Waldrop, Bossier City, three sisters, mrs. Edna Lambert of California and Mrs. W.M. McFarland and Mrs. Lillian Crawford both of Houston, tX. and five nephews and two nieces. Pallbearers will be Delertle Brown, J.E. Stewart, J.N. Mills, Johnny russell, John Jones and Carl Ellasson. The Rev. Walter Lantz, pastor of the Central Christian Church of Shreveport will officiate at the rites. Burial will be in Centuries Memorial Park here."
