Pub. #9, 448/449; Page 15, dwelling 141, family 141: Notation was that MF Waldrop
had a sick liver. Also in the household was George Brown b. NY., boarder and
Elizabeth Franks, mother-in-law. Lafayette Co., AR. Marriage Records 1828-1907.
In Bossier Parish, LA. 1870. Arkansas Land Patents: Lafayette Co. (granted through
30 Jun 1908) Page 67. "Bossier Parish 29 Jan 1879 before John Francis Hayes,
notary Public for State of LA. appeared Achilles "Darnly" Waldrop of
said parish who...somtime in the Winter of 1877, perhaps in the month of December,
his wife, Sold to John J. Robinson then of the state of Arkansas a certain track
or parcel of land 160 acres, the same being his said wife's portion of the landed
estate of her Father the late Josephus Franks, that with the proceeds of the
sale of the aforesaid land he purchased from one James R. Cavett, 360 acres of
land ...as bought from Said James R. Cavett by him giving and granting to his
said wife a full title in Warranty to said lands free from all debts...And the
said Mary Francis Franks being now present accepts this title and sale as aforesaid;
in full consideration and compensation fo the amount due to her by her said Husband
for the Value of the lands sold by her to John J. Robinson aforesaid. Attest.

Co., AR.. Mary Frances FRANKS was born on 12 Aug
1848 in Bossier City, Bossier Parish, LA.. She died on 26 Apr 1923 in Houston,
Harris Co., TX.. 1850 Census of Lafayette Co., AR. hh 314, page 47 at age 16.
