35. Simeon Newton Johnson WALDROP was born in 1812 in Jasper Co., GA.. He died after 1881 in Clayton Co., GA.. 1850 Census Monroe Co., GA., Family #1093.
Simeon and Nancy were first cousins. Their fathers, Solomon and Isaac were brothers.--jd

Some have said Simeon was first married to a Sally Waldrop; However, I have found no evidence of this marriage or of any issue from it. Neither have any researchers whom I have contacted. If such evidence surfaces, Sally can be added, but for now I am deleting her name as Simeon's first wife.--Jan Dawson, 10/99
