Invitation to Serve

Study Group
Study and discussion of the Bible or other interesting subjects-in the Fall and after New Year's, on Tuesdays at 7:30 p.m. in St Joseph's Room of the Monsignor Raby House. Please feel free to come any Tuesday. Everyone is welcome!

Hospitality
Parish social events are meant for everyone. Please come and meet your fellow parishioners.

Catholic Women's League
The C.W.L. is a national organization whose concerns are: spiritual development and enrichment of Christian family life; education; resolutions; and legislation.
Meetings:1st Wednesday of the month except July and August.

School Council Representatives

Serve on the Parish Council.  Contact the Parish Office to find the representative for Holy Name and St. Martha

Knights of Columbus
The Knights of Columbus is the world's largest organization of Catholic men and their families. Council 11886 of Holy Name of Jesus Church is committed to Catholic family life and is engaged in activities to support our Church in a wide range of spiritual, charitable and social activities.



Invitation to Serve

Parish Wellness Program: Two parishioners are designated to visit people of the parish who are confined to their home. If you know a parishioner who would appreciate a visit:

Parish Youth Group: is for all youth who are interested in developing an understanding of God's presence doing community work, retreats, conferences and social development.

Social Activities: The Parish enjoys many social activities-fall bazaar, family bowling, dances, etc.

Volunteer Opportunities

Holy Name of Jesus Parish has many opportunities for volunteer activity, and greatly values the contributions to Parish life which its many volunteers provide.
In accordance with the Catholic Bishops’ directives, there is an established screening process in place, since any organization that provides programs to vulnerable people has a moral, legal and spiritual obligation to appropriately screen those who work for them, including volunteers and paid staff.
