Chapter 5 Unknown: hello, am I interrupting things Megan: no not at all, Kevin, Kevin! Come here Kevin: hey girl haven’t heard from you in awhile Megan: so how’s Jennifer Holly: ok I usually don’t dig my friends brothers but can you say h-o-t-t hot, Megan is good looking for her age and then you come upon this guy that’s older than her wearing North Carolina Tarheels jersey and he is cute. Kevin: she’s great, who’s your friends Megan: you guys this is Kevin, and Kevin this is Justin, Ryan, Jason, Dannie, Holly, Justin’s mom, Lynn, his step-dad Paul and his brother Jon and you know mom and dad Kevin: that’s quite a handful Megan: what you just come from a game Kevin: yea Megan: did you win Kevin: yea and you know it All the introductions were made and then they all talked for awhile and many friend ships were made that night. Megan was happy that her brother liked her friends. The 7 friends all decided that they want to go to the club. They all got in except for Megan and Justin. Bouncer: excuse me you have to be 18 to enter Justin: we are 18 Bouncer: you have to be 18 by January first, I’m sorry Megan: do you want to just get out of her, the others probably won’t even notice we’re gone Justin: ok let’s go you have a car right Megan: of course I have my mustang, let’s go it’s over here The 2 were glad to get out of the camera for once and it was in the club. They were happy to get alone and talk or at least something like that. Later in the car. Megan: should I drop you off at your house Justin: do you want to go swimming Megan: I guess where my house? Justin: no we can do it at my house if that’s all right with you Megan: that’s fine which house is yours Justin: it’s that one on the left Megan: you have a nice house. Justin: thanks, looks my parents aren’t home yet Megan: looks like that, so what do you want to do Justin: let’s go swimming and then we can go into the whirlpool Megan: sounds good Justin: do you have a suit Megan: yea I have one in the back of my car Justin: why if I may ask Megan: we had a big party before I left for my birthday and I forgot to clean out my trunk and it has a few things from my presents. Justin: oh ok let’s go. Megan: sure (Note from author- Megan got her boot off earlier that day so that puts it in that she can swim, now where was I oh yeah) Megan got her suit out of the back of the car and then went inside Justin’s house. They were playing in the pool for awhile and decided that they want to get into the hot tub and talk. Megan: Justin can I ask you something Justin: go right ahead you can tell me anything and you know that Megan: do you believe like falling in love with someone that you haven’t known for awhile but it fellst hat you’ve known them your whole life Justin: yea I do, can I ask you something now Megan: sure Justin: do you believe falling in love with someone that you don’t know much about, like a soul mate, have you ever have one Megan: I do believe in that because well this is the first time I talked about this since it happened. Well I thought that Nick was my soul mate and I thought I loved him and it wasn’t meant to happen but with these next couple of years I know I will or all ready met my soul mate Justin: so can I ask something of you Megan: of course, anything Justin: can I kiss you Megan: Justin don’t get me wrong but I’ll let you do it but I don’t want a relationship right now and then I don’t want you off the rebound of the bad relationship Justin: so you like me Megan: yeah I guess, but give it a little more time Justin: sure anything Justin leaned down and kissed her on the lips and pulled away and started to get out of the hot tub Justin: I want to thank you and I’m going to take a shower, there are some clothes you can wear on the table out there Megan: thanks and don’t let that go to your head Justin: don’t worry Justin went off to take his shower while Megan put on the dry clothes and then went to sleep on the chair outside of the house. Meanwhile back with the 5 Dannie: where’s Megan and Justin Holly: I don’t know, haven’t seen them all night Kevin: they probably left early and you are all welcome to sleep at my house Ryan: ok let’s go They all drove back to Kevin’s house to their surprise Justin’s parents were still there. They all went to bed in various locations. The girls slept in Megan’s room while the guys in the guestrooms. Lynn: don’t worry Karen (Megan’s mom) they are at my house and they are all probably sleeping right now Karen: you think so Lynn: I know so, they couldn’t have got into that club because you had to be 18 by January first. I’ll call you when I see my son and your daughter sleeping Karen: ok bye They left. Meanwhile back at the house. Justin came back from his shower to get Megan to take hers. Justin: Megan your turn, oh Megan was sleeping peacefully and Justin carried Megan up to the guestroom and tucked her in and then he went to sleep immediately. Then his parents came home. Justin’s mom first checked Justin’s room to see if they were in there but only Justin was and she was proud of her son so she went to the guest room to see Megan sleeping peacefully. Then she called Karen back to tell her that she’s fine and then they went to bed. Megan woke up at 3:30 and decided to go downstairs. Megan found a paper and an envelope to write something. On the front it said Lynn- Mrs. Harless. It read: Dear Mrs. Harless,   Its me Megan, I have gone out its 3:30. If your wondering why because I haven’t told many people this but I am practicing for the summer Olympics in 1 year so I have to practice. It begins at 4 and ends a 8, I will be back here around 8:30 and all. Please don’t tell anyone but your husband because Justin doesn’t need to know right now. To let you know I’m doing really good. Thanks Megan With that Megan left for her long a waited practice. Megan practiced and then stopped at her house to get some clothes. TO her surprise everyone was sleeping so she was a quick trip. Then she made it back to the house to find that Justin’s mom was the only one up. Lynn: welcome back, how was practice Megan: it was fine, tiring but fine Lynn: glad to hear that, you want something to eat Megan: sure, thanks Lynn: no problem and when ever you need someone to talk to I’m here for you sweety and don’t go for nothing less than your dreams. Megan: thanks, that’s exactly what Justin said, I’ll take you up on that offer sometime.
