We know very little about Sirius Black until Prisoner of Azcaban although he is mentioned briefly in Philsopher's Stone
Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone/ Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone
- We know that he was around for Hagrid to borrow the motor bike from when delivery Harry to Albus Dumbledore and Minerva McGonagall on Privet Drive.
- We can assume that he was not declared guilty of killing James and Lilly Potter until sometime after their deaths as Hagrid does not seem to think it inappropriate to have borrowed said motorbike.
