I'm happy where I am. But I work for an online publication, and that's hazardous to one's fiscal health. That's why I have posted my résumé on this site, along with work samples from my days as a copy editor and links to stories I have written for bankrate.com.

I can help a newspaper or news-oriented web site prosper and profit. I have the smarts and the skills to do so much because I have done so much. I have been an excellent reporter, a stellar copy editor, and in 1997 I put together The (Toledo) Blade's web site.

There are a few goodies on this site. For example, a story about backpacking and O.J. Simpson, my brush with Jessica McClure, the little girl who fell in the well in Texas, and my résumé.
