This year's DORA was held on the 19th of February.

The festival has been organised for several years by Ksenija Urlicic, who is very unpopular in Croatia.   Apparently this year she got her secretary on to the panel of experts who chose the final 26 songs, and deliberately disqualified the song by Mladen Grdovic and Tereza Kesovija, Addio amore mio because Mladen said it would probably win; Ksenija claims it was a suitable song for MHJ, but not for the DORA.  This is after Ivana Banfic's Imam te was rumoured to have been kept out of the DORA last year in case it stopped Marija Magdalena winning......

The DORA was also supposed to have been fixed in favour of either Vanna or Severina.  Perhaps unfortunately, this didn't turn out to be the case.

Other singers who submitted rejected songs to the DORA committee included ET, Ivana Plechinger (as a singer) and ENI.
