A fund has been set up for Jayne Hitchcock to cover her legal
expenses. Her lawyer is working on a contingency basis, but court fees,
deposition fees, etc. must be paid and have overwhelmed
her. Help Jayne Hitchcock fight back and contribute to the H.E.L.P. Fund
today!
Just some of the people who have contributed to the H.E.L.P. Fund:
|
- Raymond E.
Feist, fantasy author best known for his
Riftwar and Serpentwar series, as well as the popular computer games
Betrayal at Krondor and Return to Krondor (now also novels). Raymond E. Feist does not
have his own personal web site, but should you wish to learn more about him please visit
R.E.F. info.
- The misc.writing crew with t-shirts and a cookbook, "Wrecipes for Wrevelling,"
which can still be purchased The Official Misc.writing
Site as an electronic document (.pdf file). All proceeds, after printing/publishing costs, go to
the HELP Fund.
- Computer Bits - Oregon's Digital
Magazine
- Skunk's Life
- A paper zine that donated proceeds from 50 copies of its Summer 1997 Issue to the
HELP Fund.
"Jayne's stand against the (Woodside) literary agency is not only for
herself but for you and me as well. Skunk's Life and I support Jayne but it
is time to hit the beachhead in force and numbers. The where and when is
now and the HELP Fund icon shows how you too, can take a stand with Jayne
and send a message to agencies who try to take advantage of writers."
- DB Pedlar, editor of Skunk's Life.
