With a constant work increase in the cinematographic world, Bob Mithoff is the perfect example from the jump that they have accomplished multitude of composers from the world of the pop-rock to that of the cinema music. Began around the end of the seventies as soloist, giving the qualitative jump when was converted in arranger and player for artists as popular as Laura Brannigan or Julio Iglesias; is this experience the one which helped him to be introduced in the cinema, when he is required to arrange themes of two action films very successful in the eighties, Beverly Hills Cop (1984) and Action Jackson (1988). His studies of Musical Theory and Composition in the Music and Arts Institute of San Francisco will serve him, from this moment, to devote his efforts to the cinematographic music, first with television projects -as Working Tra$h (1990), his first work for the screen-, and thereinafter with independent or commercial-type productions.
