Anne McCaffrey has written many wonderful novels and taken her readers to fantastical worlds where the imagination seems real. Her Pern series is ever developing and changing. Her characters are real and believeable.She has developed them so that the reader feels loss and love with them and feels at a loss when each novel comes to an end.
