"Ravenous"10 fps Trailer (8.7 Mb, MOV) A very good movie which is about a group of American soldiers that are trapped in their fort in the Sierras in the midst of a terrible blizzard, during the Mexican-American War. One of the soldiers (Robert Carlyle) snaps, and becomes a cannibalistic maniac who is able to convince some of his fellow soldiers to join him in his depravity. Nice isn't it? Cast : Robert Carlyle, Guy Pearce, Jeffrey Jones, Jeremy Davies and David Arquette.

"The Very Thought Of You" Full Trailer (19.0 Mb,MOV) A comedy about an American girl who decides to leave everything behind in Minneapolis for a fresh start in London separately meets three young Britons who happen to be friends and two of them fall desperately in love with her. Cast: Monica Potter, Rufus Sewell, Tom Hollander and Joseph Fiennes .

Miss Julie : Mike Figgis is in negotiations to helm Miss Julie. Saffron Burrows (Circle of Friends), Peter Mullan (My Name Is Joe) and Maria Doyle-Kennedy (The Commitments) will be in the pic, which is about an aristocratic young woman (Burrows) who allows her father’s social-climbing valet (Mullan) to seduce her. After the sexual thrill has gone, they find they have nothing in common and the woman now must struggle with the consequences of her actions.

Mission to Mars : Brian De Palma has agreed tohelm Mission to Mars. Gary Sinise and Don Cheadle will star in the film .

Standing Room Only : Interlight Pictures will finance and co-produce the $70 million John Travolta starrer Standing Room Only, the biopic of crooner Jimmy Roselli, whose rejection of the Mafia turned him into a target. Gus Van Sant is directing the pic, which co-stars Travolta’s wife, Kelly Preston.

American Psycho : Reese Witherspoon and Samantha Mathis have joined the cast of American Psycho. The cast also includes Willem Dafoe, Jared Leto, Chloe Sevigny and Guinevere Turner.

An Everlasting Piece : Barry Levinson is in negotiations to direct An Everlasting Piece, a comedy to be shot in Ireland this fall about two aspiring hairpiece salesmen. Barry McEvoy, who wrote the script, will take the lead in the film which is set in the ’80s, follows the travails of two slacker pals who plot to get rich by becoming the exclusive salesmen of hairpieces in Northern Ireland. The entrepreneurial duo find themselves in a heap of trouble when they unwittingly dupe, with a faulty toupee, an IRA soldier.

Star Wars Episode One: The Phantom Menace : Star Wars Web site says that a new trailer for Episode One: The Phantom Menace is in the works. The announcement quotes producer Rick McCallum as saying that the new trailer will run two and a half minutes, about thirty seconds longer than the original trailer released last November. According to the announcement, the new trailer "focuses much more on the larger plot of The Phantom Menace rather than on the story of Anakin Skywalker." It goes on: "Packed with completely new footage, the trailer is currently being mixed and readied for release." Reviews of this trailer can be found at Ain't it cool news web site.

The Third Wheel : Ben Affleck and Matt Damon will produce the comedy-romance The Third Wheel. Jay Lacopo, who is taking opposite lead, wrote the script. Jordan Brady will direct the film which is about two friends, Stanley and Michael (Affleck), who plan an exciting evening for Stanley’s date with Diana, the girl of his dreams. But due to a series of mishaps the couple end up spending the evening with a con artist (Lacopo).

Keeping the Faith : Jenna Elfman is in talks to star opposite Edward Norton and Ben Stiller in Keeping the Faith. Edward Norton will make his directorial debut. The film is a romantic comedy about two boyhood friends, a rabbi (Stiller) and a priest (Norton), whose relationship becomes confused when they fall in love with the same woman.

City by the Seal : Al Pacino is in talks to star in City by the Sea. The film is about a policeman (Pacino) who starts investigating a murder only to discover that his son is the killer. Michael Caton-Jones is also in talks to direct. The picture story is a true Esquire magazine article.

Reindeer Games : Bob Weinstein will produce Reindeer Games which stars Ben Affleck, Gary Sinise and Charlize Theron. The film is in pre-production in Canada. John Frankenheimer is directing the film that will start shooting on March 15th . The film is the story of an ex-con who is drawn by his former cellmate into a casino heist.

Supernova : Director Walter Hill and United Artists have seperated their ways on Supernova, the studio’s big-budget sci-fi pic starring James Spader, Angela Bassett, Lou Diamond Phillips and Robert Forster. Variety's Michael Fleming reports that Hill wanted to do more shooting, and the studio wanted to test what it had before OK’ing it. Hill did not want the film tested beforehand, and they disagreed strongly enough to finally agree on a parting of the ways. He won’t be back to finish the film, though it appears likely his name will still be on a film that the studio is bullish on for a fall release.

Bicentennial Man : Sam Neill will star opposite Robin Williams in Bicentennial Man. Neill will play the patriarch of a futuristic family that hires an android (Williams) who discovers he wants to become human. Chris Columbus will direct.

Mission: Impossible II : Cruise-Wagner Prods. confirmed that Mission: Impossible II will be shot entirely in Sydney and New South Wales.

"Outside Providence" Full Trailer (20.0 Mb, MOV) Cast : Alec Baldwin, Shawn Hatosy (The Faculty), Jonathan Brandis. Written by Michael Corrente and Bobby Farrelly (co-writer of There's Something About Mary and Dumb and Dumber). The pic tells a story of a teenager (Hatosy) who is sent to a fancy private school by his working class dad (Baldwin) so he can stay out of trouble, but he finds, in an atmosphere of drugs and violence, that upper crust kids aren't really that different from his friends back home.

Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels : Tom Cruise is looking to remake Guy Ritchie's British blockbuster Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels. He has snapped up the rights to the film.

Where the Wild Things Are : Universal Pictures will helm and Tom Hanks production company will produce Where the Wild Things Are. The studio is setting up a live-action/computer graphics animated version of Maurice Sendak’s famed children’s book. Pic is about a boy named Max who discovers, tames and becomes king of a far-away land of giant friendly monsters called wild things.

Shaft : Samuel L. Jackson is in final negotiations to play the title character in a remake of the 1971 action film Shaft, The film was adapted from a novel by Ernest Tidyman and starred Richard Roundtree as a handsome, tough-talking private detective enlisted by a Harlem mob boss to rescue his kidnapped daughter.

Rocky and Bullwinkle : Randy Quaid has joined Jason Alexander, Rene Russo, Robert De Niro and Monica Potter in Rocky and Bullwinkle. He will play the role of hard-boiled FBI director Cappy van Trappment.

The Visitors : Christina Applegate and Tara Reid are in final negotiations to star in the remake of the Les Visiteurs. The film will feature original male leads Jean Reno and Christian Clavier as a nobleman and squire. The two are accidentally transported to modern times. Applegate will play Reno's 11th century love interest, Lady Rosalind, and his modern-day American love, Maureen Malfete. Reid is her all-American neighbor Angelique, who becomes smitten with Clavier's character.

"The Mummy" Full Trailer (15.5 Mb, MOV) Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz starrer film is about a French Foreign Legionnaire (Fraser) who accidentally awakens a mummified Egyptian soldier, Imhotep, urged on by a beautiful librarian (Weisz), and her playboy brother.
