Erin Brockovich
Julia Roberts stars as "Erin Brockovich," the strong-willed take- no-guff woman who went
from a struggling single mother of three, to a legal force to be reckoned with, taking on a
multibillion dollar corporation.
Based on a true story, we join Erin, out of work and desperately trying to find employment to
support her family. After her car is struck by another vehicle running a red light, when the
man turns out to be a doctor she quickly learns how the law often caters to the rich and
influential. This however does not deter her from insisting on employment from her lawyer and
proceeding to work on a case to help the innocent.
Starting out as a simple real estate case, the eagle-eyed Erin is quick to spot something just
isn't right. With a little research, she soon discovers a large corporation has been poisoning
the drinking water of a small town, only to try and cover up their mistake by trying to
purchase the property and homes of the chronically ill.
A hard-hitting movie, excellent writing, acting and a terrific story help drive home the point
of commercial greed and inconsideration. Unfortunately, some poor camera work and a huge
overdose of foul language do little more than detract from a potentially great film.
Parental Note: Major Language, Sexual Overtones

The disc is single sided - dual layered and contains the original widescreen version
