Fargo
The true story of a 1997 murder case in Minnesota, "Fargo" was winner of two Academy Awards for best actress and screenplay as well as five other nominations.
A man desperate for money devises a simple plan to scheme money from his rich and uncaring father-in-law by having his wife kidnapped.
All seems to be going smoothly, but it is not too long before a trail of bodies by sloppy criminals begin to reveal the truth. A tale of wrongs gone wrong, Fargo delivers a wonderfully written but sadly true story that many will enjoy, but full of extreme language some may not.
The disc is double sided - single layered and contains the widescreen and full frame pan and scan versions of the movie on opposite sides. The mastering is terrific, but the extras are few.
