Independence Day
With days to "Independence Day," a large unidentified object passing the moon soon becomes identified, proving mankind is not alone in the universe. The intentions of the distant travelers unclear, over a dozen large ships break off from the mother ship entering Earth's atmosphere around the globe. Soon aware of the interplanetary invasion, mankind must put aside their petty differences and band together... or else quickly become extinct.
Pure sci-fi fun, a stellar cast including Will Smith, Jeff Goldblum, Randy Quaid and Harry Connick Jr. deliver out of this world performances as far out as the incredible writing and not to be missed special effects.
Parental Note: Minor Language
The 2 discs are single sided - dual layered, disc 1 containing the original widescreen version of the movie and disc 2 the plentyful extras. The mastering is excellent, as are the extras.
