The Lady Vanishes

One of Alfred Hitchcock's best British films, we find ourselves boarding a train, its passengers thrilling mystery and suspense.

When a young woman befriends an elderly lady, she awakens from a short rest to find the lady has vanished. As her suspicion rises when passengers and crew deny ever seeing the lady, this young woman must turn to the only familiar face on the train, a young man she barely knows, for help. Together with little clues they begin to unravel the truth to this lady's disappearance.

A wonderful story with great acting and finely ingrained comedy, it is as enjoyable to watch today as it was many years ago when produced. Masterfully restored, this disc is a great addition to any collection of those who love the great classics.

The disc is single sided - single layered and contains the full frame version of the movie. The mastering is good, but off sync, and the extras few.
