The incredible KITT. The most sought after car in the world. And the most legendary. He could do everything from being able to talk with a sense of humor, Turbo Boost, to using reverse psychology on a criminal and perhaps even Michael! The following is images of KITT when he was at World Expo 88 in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Expo 88 was one of the century's greatest world exibitions to be held. Countries from all over the world attended and had their own pavilions showing and demostrating their cultures and abilities to the visitor's and KITT was there in his own little stand. I was on the site's monorail with my uncle when I found KITT parked beneath, I yelled and impaitently waited for the damn monorail to stop and run down to see my automotive idol. And mate, what an experience. KITT and I had a great conversation!

This was the Season 4 version of KITT. Notice the queue in the background? I took me half an hour to see KITT, that's how bloody long the line was! And as you can see, it's immaculate. And it's genuine. This was one of the display cars used at the KITT's river stand at Universal Studios. Aswell as KITT talking, the crew had the headlights popping up and down flashing, the door's windows sliding up and down, and little tricks on the dash's monitor. KITT is a 1982 Pontiac Trans-am with a 5 litre 305 TBI (Throttle Body Injection) engine which was also available with a Rochester 4 barrel carby. Makes you wish you had your own. Well you can!! Coming soon to my site, a page that will contain everything thing you need to know to get your own KITT, especially on what's involved for us Aussies on obtaining the car. And also info on the best known business in the U.S.A. that specialise in KITT conversions. And I'm currently in the process of building my own replica! So check back often on that.

These photos are from one the original 3/4 Season display KITTs that was on the Official Knight Rider display at Universal Studios in Los Angeles. Don't expect to find this car there anymore!
