I really didn't have much desire to see this movie after I saw the preview for it. I don't like dark movies and I could tell from the trailer that that's exactly what it was going to be, dark. And it was. The story didn't seem that interesting to me either but because I like Nicholas Cage I thought it might be worth it. I was waiting for him to redeem himself after Snake Eyes. Well he didn't do it. Well, that's not quite true. His acting isn't bad. None of the acting is. Most of it is quite good as a matter of fact. The problem is the script/story. The movie drags on and it's not that interesting of a topic to me anyway. The movie focuses on the underground porn industry. The movie is sick and dark and boring. The try to make it intense at times and it fails. The conclusion is terrible. They build the story up and leave the mystery with this cheesy ending. The only reason why this movie gets this high a grade is it is an original story and the acting is very good. Other than that, it sucks and it's slow so don't bother.
