Fun, fun, fun and more fun.  This movie was all I hoped it would be.  I, of course, was afraid that it would be poorly written and cheesey and fall short of what it could be.  It doesn't really.  It does it's job.

The strengths of this movie...soundtrack, acting, writing, and fight sequences.  Some of the fighting is over the top.  The majority is, in a Matrix like way except they aren't living in a world where they can manipulate the laws of physics.  However, quite a lot of it is impressive whether or not it is believable.   i.e. Cameron Diaz in the bathroom fight.  I love movies with girls kicking ass and this certainly has that.  The girls can watch this movie to see the girls kick ass and the guys can watch to look at the hot girls.

What is lacking in this movie that it dropped to 3 stars?  Like I stated already, the fighting was a little over the top, but that wasn't a big deal.   Certain characters were unnecessary.  Matt LeBlanc was more distracting than anything.  And as always, Kelly Lynch made me want to gag.  I haven't liked her since Cocktail.  She's over the top and just skanky all around and not in a good way.   Could have done without her.  Also, with a great talent like Bill Murray around, why didn't they capatilize on him more.  That's not to say that he wasn't great.  What little he was in the film he was magnificent, as always.

Also, what was the makeup department thinking, aside from making Crispin Glover look truly creepy, I was disappointed.  You are given people with naturally good looks and you try to destroy them.  Hair department should've been shot.  These girls are supposed to look like godesses, like the t.v. show and Drew looked like she had just gotten out of bed for 90 percent of the movie.  And Cameron had a haircut that looked like a blind man with a butcher knife had worked on.  Not to mention that her already blonde hair was bleached so that it washed her out.   Yuck. Anyway, more good points, Sam Rockwell, who you might remember from The Green Mile, was pretty damn good.  Watch the outtakes, the man can dance.  I thought he wasn't good looking enough for Drew Barrymore but as I stated, the girls didn't look too hot either.

Ok, so in sum-up.  If you're looking for a fun, enjoyable, kick ass movie, watch this.  Go into it expecting it to be a spoof of a cheesey t.v. show and you'll be pleased.  It's worth watching.  I really enjoyed it.
