Bio written by a representative:
With the courage of a true brave, Armand Soriano started his acting career by taking matters into his own hands. He walked onto the set of "Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman" and asked for a part. He got it! Two days later he was filming a dramatic scene portraying a very ill, brave Cheyenne Indian opposite Jane Seymour.
Being of mixed heritage, Aztec Indian and Spanish, Armand has the ability to play a variety of characters. The next opportunity came when he was cast in a film titled "Two Coyotes", an independent film based around the Mexican Mafia. His character's name was "Chupacabras" which literally means "goat sucker". He thoroughly enjoyed this part as it was so different from his own good nature. The movie will be out later this year.
Using his Spanish heritage, Armand went on to work in "Placas", a Spanish "cops" like reenactment based on true life situations. The episode "Amor de coyote" aired on the Spanish station "Telemundo" March 31, 1998 and his performance was well received by the Spanish viewers.
With the demand for Native American and Spanish actors, Armand has realized his potential to actually have a chance in the difficult world of showbusiness. His talents started in Mexico City, where he was born in 1974. He became involved in theatre at a young age. At the age of 15 he moved to Thousand Oaks, California and continued to carry his interest of the arts with him. It was only recently that he started pursuing a serious career in movies and television.
Armand has been married since 1994 to Kim Soriano, an American, and in his spare time lifts weights, plays soccer, rides horses and is learning to speak Italian.
