ZEALOT is..
......the realization of a vision that Christian Miller had ever since he
was a young
boy. When Christian first heard and saw the band KISS, he knew what he
wanted to
do in his life! However, as time went on, Christian longed for peace in a
life full of
turmoil. That's when Jesus came in. When Christian was ready to recieve.
Not long after, Christian realized the truth of a vision that God had given
him
years ago. He was to play Rock music,.............. but he was going to do
it for the Lord!
After years of serving in church Youth Ministry, and waiting on the Lord.
The dream
began to take shape. God brought together a group of young men, and gave
them a
desire and a mission! After a few member changes, the lineup was set. And
the band
was given a name......ZEALOT!
Now the vision is alive! ZEALOT makes music in a way that few bands do.
They strive
to please the Lord. However, the members of ZEALOT are not perfect, and
they do not
pretend to be. This is one thing that sets them apart from the rest of the
pack.
The members of ZEALOT are normal people just like anyone else. And that's
the
way it should be.
ZEALOT has played many, many, live shows in the last 3 years or so. If they
are known
for anything in particular,....It is that they are different. Different
because, the music
is a wide variety of rock styles. And the band itself is very diverse.
Christian is 32,
and was influenced by many bands of the 70's & 80"s. Including every thing
from,
New Wave to Metal! Jeremy is 20, and was into Contemporary Christian
music,
Pop rock, and alternative rock. Jerry is 20, and was into Rap, and Dance
music.
ZEALOT has combined all these influences into a Christian Rock band that is
truly different. And ZEALOT continues to change and evolve as time goes on.
ZEALOT has released a tape that includes 6 tracks. and is available through
mail order and at our concerts. ZEALOT also puts out a free newsletter that
tells
about upcoming events and the progress of thier ministry.
ZEALOT is currently seeking a record contract. This would enable them to
reach
many, many, more people than they are now.
