Brenda is sitting at the bar, and Jason walks in.
Brenda: "Hey, thanks for coming."
Jason: "Yeah, well you said it was about Robin and I'm a little busy, so let's just....."
Brenda: (interrupting) "Look, I don't want to be in your presence any longer than you want to be in mine."
Jason: "Great." (sits down)
Brenda: "Look.....I just want to know if you could leave Robin alone." (Jason stares at her)
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Jason: (sort of angrily) "Look, you probably have good intentions, or whatever. At least that's what I pick to believe. But you're wasting your energy and my time. Robin broke-up with me months ago."
Brenda: "Doesn't matter. I broke-up with Sonny a million times."
Jason: "Yeah.....Robin isn't you."
Brenda: "No, she's not. But I think she may be headed that way. C'mon Jason.....suddenly she's not in Paris anymore."
Jason: "That's because of you Brenda."
Brenda: "No, no it's not......it's because of you. C'mon, I know she's over at the penthouse hanging out with you and the baby. That's very domestic. It's a very pretty picture from the outside." (Jason is just staring at Brenda) "But she's gonna get herself into trouble and it's gonna be too late before she realizes it. She's gonna start coming up with all these excuses why your way of life is okay. I mean is that what you really want for her? You really want her to live with secrets and lies and you really want her to be in danger?" (pauses) "Because you know Robin. She's gonna convince herself that nothing can hurt her because she's with the man she loves. You really want her on her knees every night praying to God to keep you safe while you're out killing people? I think pretty soon Robin isn't gonna be able to recognize herself and she's gonna start looking a lot like me. I'd have to assume that you would hate that."
Jason: "Yeah I would."
Brenda: "If you really loved her, you'd let her go."
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Jason: "I don't know what you think I can do for her Brenda."
Brenda: "I think you can tell her that you don't love her anymore. Do whatever it takes. Tell her there's no room for her in your life anymore. Not even as a friend."
Jason: (nods) "This is interesting. Sounds like you're encouraging me to hurt Robin on purpose." (tilts head to one side)
Brenda: "Yeah that's exactly what I'm encouraging you to do."
Jason: (angrily) "And this is okay with you?!"
Brenda: "Robin is better off without you."
Jason: (angrily) "Well, I'm sure you think you know best but I don't lie to Robin. I'm not gonna start now just because you say so."
Brenda: "If you really loved her."
Jason: "We're done."
Brenda: "No." (laughs) "We're not done. I'm gonna tell you something right now." (looks around) "And that is this. She is my little sister and if you think that I'm gonna sit back and let you ruin her with your business and yur lies and everything else you are really wrong."
Jason: "Like I said.....we're done." (gets up and walks out. Brenda looks angry)
