| WHERE YOU ARE
Even though you are so far,
I can dream of where you are.
When I look up to the sky,
I can see into your eyes.
I will stare off into space,
And there I'll see your shining face.
Then I look upon the ground,
Even there, too, you are found.

It matters not what I do,
All my thoughts are of you.
I see you in the stars,
Still I wonder where you are.

 Dark, cool, blowing night air,
Reminds me of your soft hair.
Maybe it wasn't meant to be,
Then why are you all I see?
I can see you floating above,
flying as graceful as a dove.

In the winter, when it snows,
In the fall when the wind blows,
 Even during April showers,
 Your beauty exceeds the flowers.
In the summer and on the sand,
You can be seen across the land.

SONNET 109
O, never say that I was false of heart,
Though absence seemes my flame to qualify.
As easy might I from myself depart
As from my soul, which in thy breast doth lie.
That is my home of love; if I have ranged,
Like him that travels I return again,
Just so the time, not with the time exchanged,
So that myself bring water for my stain.
Never believe, though in my nature reigned
All frailties that besiege all kinds of blood,
That it could so preposterously be stained
 To leave for nothing all thy sum of good;
For nothing this wide universe I call
Save thou, my rose; in it thou art my all.

 William Shakespeare

WAITING FOR EACH OTHER
Like the golden glory that arrives before the dawn,
We were only waiting for the day we both were born
From the misted labyrinths of warped and endless time,
When our lives were joined together into a steady climb
 To reach the tow'ring ramparts of the far and distant clouds;
To find our life together, and to shout our love aloud.

ALWAYS AND FOREVER
When nothing makes sense and every thought is blurred
Love finds it's way and somehow I understand
I know why it is and what must be
No matter what arises or what happens
Love will always find it's way
And lead us to our place
 Our fairytale.

When you look into my eyes you view my soul
And see the love I have to give
It is everything I am and because of it
 I will always love you
For you have given it to me
In a world full of despair
 You've given me hope
A dream, a desire for something more
 Something better
For this you will always be special.

I love you more than anyone will ever know
If there was a word to describe my love
Surely it would only be spoken by god
For no person could love more than me
In my heart I carry you and the essence of love
In its pure and simple form
All I have to offer you is me and my love
Though both are simple I promise they are true.

 Even as I write this
I think of how to describe to you
 Something I hardly understand
But I must tell you how I feel
 So I close my eyes
And let my heart guide my hand
Perhaps the tears that fall from my eyes
Will show you my love and how much it means to me
To me our love is everything.

I believe love will find it's way and show us the answers
 To the questions being reveiled
I promise you that i will always love you
And I never meant to hurt you
 I know you love me
I can see it in your eyes and feel it in your touch
I promise I will never forget it
For out of everything in my life I have earned and aquired
Your love is my most valueable possession
And the memories I have with it
 Will always be my fondest.

 Life is truly a mystery
A puzzle waiting to be solved
Although one might be able to solve it alone
The answer will be found easier with another
I want to discover life with you
And experience all of life's mysteries
 Together in your embrace
I love you... always and forever.....

WINDOWS
 Love became windows of springtime
Through which the light of many dreams
 Found life, the manifold summertimes
Began to breathe their first breath,
The skies taking hold on many days,
With gentle embrace: the fondness of first roses,
The fresh smell of pine trees, the glades full
Of abundant green life, birds and crickets singing,
Thinking aloud as they sing, full of joy as they bring
Tenderness to our souls, the warm winds full
Of natural fragrance as she adorns herself
With a gentleness like soft down.

She is a sweet song upon my lips
That will never be silenced, a sweet fragrance
That will never leave my dreams, a living vessel
Of sweet love that will never run dry, her kisses
Becoming gentle doves of light floating deep within
The skies of my Heart. Our Hearts filled with gladness,
She is my joyful Companion of Love,
Sweet Lady that she is, full of life; our lips touch
 Again in sweet, abundant love.

IF I COULD...
 If I could, I would, I swear
 Take away all your pain
I'd wrap you in a shawl of care
 'Til you feel safe again

And if I could, I would, please know,
 Restore your life anew
Be the half that makes you whole
 Bring happiness to you

If I could, I would, my dear,
 Grant all your heart's desires
A life of love, devoid of fear
 All that your soul requires

And if I could, I would, believe,
Make all your dreams come true
I'd be the man who'd never leave
I'd give my heart to you

MEMORIES WITH A ROSY GLOW
 Memories from long ago
Acquire a kind of rosy glow
That filters out a bitter taste
(The regret I felt at my own waste)
I want to think of only good
Of you and the time we stood
 Together, against the odds
That threatened us, and pounded us
And as I dream it happens thus
That beauty yours in frozen time
 Diffuses through my memory mind
Things I liked-I want to dream
 Memories with a perfect seam
And I won't remember what went bad-
The shouting and the tears and fighting that we had
The lonely ache and what was to be gone forever ...
Only the high I had with you
 Huff an aroma rosy hued
Blue sky stars and candle flame
 Perfume you wore, and champagne
Lips on lips and hands on skin
In a sun of love and sea of sin
And how I loved! And how I love--
 How I love
 Memories with a rosy glow
Of you and I, so long ago.
