What is one of the hardest things to do? Forgive someone you love. Yet what is one of the things that frees you the most? Forgiving someone you love. I wonder- why is it that when you love someone and everything's great, you would readily say you'd do anything in the world for that person... then when it comes time to do the one thing that would define your friendship the most, you sometimes refuse to do it? Why is that? You might as well forgive them before you possibly lose them - and not the other way around. It takes courage to put your pride aside, but I think in the end you'll be glad when you do. I know that I've been glad when I do it. 'Cause if I hadn't? Right now my life could be one friend less- but not just any friend- if it was just any old friend, it wouldn't have hurt you as much as it did. That's what you're truly forgiving them for- the hurt- not anything else in the situation. And it takes a strong person to forgive that...
