5/5-Of course, unreleased tracks by Donna are always a treat, but this one seemed to strike a chord with me the second I listened to it. Very reminscent of Pink Chairs, but it's plot just seems so raw. It's about Donna just sitting and waiting for a love to come, as he promised, and he never shows up. I felt this way about a girl I liked, and she'd promise every day to call, and she never did. And the line "Each little sound lifted my head, like a dog waiting for his master's precious tread" just hit home. Great song!
