Spaceship Earth, an 18-story geosphere, is the center piece of Future World. This attraction takes guests on a ride through time to witness the evolution of communication. Aboard "time machines", you'll watch the creation of communication. Universe of Energy

The natural forces we tap for our energy are powerfully explored in the Universe of Energy, sponsored by Exxon. This attraction contains "Ellen's Energy Adventure" which stars Ellen Degeneres from the hit show "Ellen" and costars Bill Nye from "Bill Nye the Science Guy." Universe of Energy is partially powered by 80,000 solar cells that capture the Florida sunshine on the roof of the attraction complex.

Wonders of Life

The Wonders of Life pavilion opened it's doors on October 19, 1989, and is the most recent major attraction to be added to Future World. In this pavilion, you can race through the body in Body Wars, watch the brain work in Cranium Command, or try hi-tech interactive exercise exhibits at teh Fitness Fairgrounds.

Horizons

Horizons offers a look back at tomorrow from, where else, the future. Horizons combines the ideas explored throughout Epcot, showing how they can create a better, brighter future for us all. Horizons just reopened a couple of months ago to compensate for the construction on Test-Track. Saddly, this attraction will only remain open until November when it will close FOREVER, re-opening sometime in 1999 with a space themed pavillion. It is my personal favorite, and will be missed. Just remember: if you can dream it, you can do it!!!

World of Motion / Test-Track

The World of Motion has closed its doors forever! GM Test Track will open this November. You will be put in a car while you and the car go through a series of tests. First will be the heat test, where you and the car will be baked, next you will be frozen in the coldness test, and then you will get a corrosive mist sprayed on you and the car, and then, after crashing into a wall, you get to go on an actual test drive on an outside track around the complex. When this attraction opens it will be the longest and fastest ride in all of Walt Disney World, at over 65 MPH.....WOW, I can't wait!!!

Journey into Imagination

The power of imagination is celebrated at Journey into Imagination. Guests embark on a journey filled with color, light and music while they explore the incredible world of human creativity. All it takes is imagination.....

Also in this pavilion is Honey, I Shrunk the Audience featuring Rick Moranis and the rest of the cast. As Professor Wayne Szalinski conducts his experiment, something goes wrong. This time, it is you who will be shrunk; after this show, your perspective on life will change dramatically!

The Land

The Land is largest pavillion of all, covering more than six acres. Here you will explore how we have come to use the land in more productive ways. From tropics to deserts, we have adapted to the land and its climates. Start with a boat tour through many prototype greenhouses where agricultureal innovations promise food and fuel for many years to come. This is where Disney Company, along with NASA have several experiments underway that will forever change the way we look at agriculture.
