This is my Surgery History & Picture section. Don't panic, it's not pictures OF the surgery, just a little bit of what I looked like before and right after. Please be patient as the pictures load. My mom made the pictures big so you could see them better. Thank you. :-)

Surgery History:

5 wks. old - Emergency surgery to correct Pyloric Stenosis (blockage in his stomach). This is not cleft-related, just an isolated issue that needed correction.

9 wks. old - Repair of cleft lip and soft palate.

He's also had ear tubes put in 5 times so far (4 full sets).

10 Months - First set of PE tubes.
16 months - Replaced left tube.
17 months - Replace right tube.
2 years - Another full set
2-1/2 years - Another set (T-tubes)

3 years - Tooth extraction (dentist's office)

4-1/2 years - Dental surgery under General Anesth.
(cleaning, root canal, tooth extraction)

Tentative: 4-1/2 years - Lip Revision (June, 2000)

Needless to say, he's quite a trooper and we're very proud of him!
