Peppy Brown

Peppy front view

Peppy headed for a ride in his yellow car He thought our little yellow Chevette was his car and it did become his car very soon. He had to sit behind the wheel no matter who the driver was. In fact it soon did not matter whose car he was in or who the driver was, he had to sit behind the wheel. It is hard to imagine, but some car owners never really appreciated the fact that he knew more about driving than they did. The photo on the left is one of him going to his car. We had this car for several years and had made several trips to Oklahoma to visit my daughter, Ann and her family, my home town of Weatherford, Texas, and to Arkansas to visit my mother and dad, and on to Mississippi to visit Helen's people. We would return to Illinois from there. He put a lot of miles over the road, riding in this car.

Several years later we sold this car to my wife's niece, Donna. She was at her mother's house one day when we drove up the driveway in our new car. He jumped out, ran straight to his yellow car and wanted in.

Mama, Please hold me I love you so much, I need to snuggle.Mama, I am tired of posing, please hold me and I will give you a kiss, 'cause I really, really love you and I need to snuggle.

This is my good side pose, the girls fall for this oneThis is my good side, aren't I handsome? The girls really fall for this look.

But hurry up and get these bows out of my ears, they are pulling on my hairs and they hurt.
